“Very nice hotel!! Great Location and Amenities”

Once I arrived with my family for my Nieces Graduation they did not have the handicapped double room with a walk in shower that I requested months in advance and the agent I spoke with assured me that it would be guaranteed when booking my reservation over the phone. That was also updated on my email that was sent to me at time of booking. The gentleman did apologize and accommodated me with a shower chair however, the most important thing I needed was a ADA-Comfort Height Toilet with having knee surgery which I did explain to the representative on the phone at the time of booking. I must say the toilet was very very low in the standard room that was given to me and my family and that was a problem for me. They need to make sure when someone request a handicapped room it is available upon check in. However, I must say the hotel is a very nice hotel. Was very clean, room was modern, nice and very clean. Loved the full kitchen! House keeping wonderful! In a perfect location. Next to Millenia mall, restaurants and other stores. Pool and patio very nice! Close to Universal and I had a great time with my family at Dezerland park. Nice walking trail across the street from the hotel and breakfast was amazing every morning. They offered a variety of options including hot fresh waffles you can make on your own with a variety of toppings and hot fresh coffee. Thank you! To the amazing Breakfast Staff. We stayed 4 days and other than the handicapped room not being available as I requested everything else was amazing. I would have given a 5 Star if I had received the room I requested. Keep up the great work!

I recently stayed at Residence Inn Orlando at Millenia and booked a double queen room. While there were some positives, there are several issues that need immediate attention. First, the toilet in my room was not functioning properly. I had to flush at least twice each time, even though the tank appeared to fill properly after the first flush. This is something that should have been identified during routine maintenance checks. I also noticed there are no trash cans on each floor, which forces guests to bring their trash down to the main lobby. This is inconvenient, especially for longer stays. Additionally, Uber and other delivery services are not allowed to deliver directly to guest rooms. If the goal is to maintain security, I would recommend implementing a proxy or key fob system for elevator access instead. As it stands, physical security measures seem inconsistent and potentially vulnerable. Housekeeping quality control also appears to need improvement. Auditors should be checking rooms more thoroughly for faulty fixtures and overall cleanliness. I found a rusted screw in a dusty corner near the closet, which raises concerns about attention to detail. The carpets on the fourth floor also smell like they are soaked in pet urine and need to be steam cleaned. This odor was detracts significantly from the overall guest experience. On a positive note, the location is excellent—within walking distance of The Mall at Millenia—making it very convenient for shopping and dining. The Operations Manager was also very pleasant and professional during check-in, which I appreciated. Although the property holds a 4.5-star rating, there is clearly room for improvement to ensure guests consistently receive the level of quality they are paying for.
