In the realm of hospitality's careful sphere, A retired trainer, held to standards dear. With a discerning mind, and needs profound, At the Residence culture at Lake Buena Vista's ground, Michaela stood there, a shining star, With a promise to make your stay go so far. "Whatever it takes to bring comfort to your world," She declared with kindness, in a manner true. A customer first, with needs profound, And Michaela's response, a balm she found. Then Christina, her boss, with gracious grace, Came down to my level, the guest, to truly place her. In a wheelchair confined, a sight to behold, She bent her ear, as my story was told. Taking notes with cure, and genuine intent, Making sure my needs were met, and heaven-sent. A testament to service, a feeling quite unique, Professional grace in actions, never oblique.

“Some Bright Spots, Some Missed Expectations”

This was a mixed experience over our 6-night stay. We chose this hotel after considerable research and used Bonvoy points, so our expectations were fairly high. There were definitely some positives—the staff were excellent (a special mention to Aymane), the room was spacious, some of the shuttle services were convenient, and the location worked well for both Disney and Universal. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice added benefit. However, we did run into several issues that impacted our overall experience: 1. The room was quite noisy, largely due to the AC unit inside and a vent outside. (Would recommend avoiding room 406.) 2. On one occasion, we returned to the room to find a strong unpleasant odor. Despite calling multiple times for assistance, no one came, and we eventually had to just manage as we were too tired to follow up further. 3. The shuttle timings were inconsistent—some were helpful, but others felt poorly planned. For example, a 7:00 AM drop for a park opening at 10:00 AM, and a 10:30 PM pickup from Epcot when it closes at 9:00 PM. The 4:30 PM return from Universal was also inconvenient. 4. There are no dining options within walking distance, which makes things difficult if you don’t have a car or want a quick, last-minute meal. 5. Water pressure and temperature in the bathroom were inconsistent throughout the stay. 6. The Mariott Vacation guys near the breakfast area can be a little too pushy at time. Overall, while the hotel has some strong points, the operational gaps made the experience less comfortable than expected.

“A little under the weather”

Asked for extra towels but none provided. Tried to call the front desk but the phone cord had been cut! Missing silver ware. Suite was to have two bathrooms per the website but only one. Glad it’s only one night with a family of six.
