From the moment we walked through the doors, Naty at the front desk made us feel like VIPs. She welcomed us with genuine warmth, answered every question with a smile, and made checking in completely effortless. She's the kind of person who sets the tone for an amazing stay before you've even made it to your room. The hotel itself is absolutely immaculate. Every hallway, lobby, and room sparkled, and it's obvious the housekeeping team takes incredible pride in their work. Our room was pristine, and the bed... wow. I don't know what kind of magic is packed into those mattresses, but I slept so well I briefly considered asking if they sold them in the gift shop. Leaving that bed each morning took genuine determination. Then, just when we thought the experience couldn't get any better, Tracy made checking out just as memorable as checking in. She was warm, personable, and sent us off with the same level of kindness and professionalism that made us feel so welcome from the start. It's amazing how much a friendly farewell can leave you smiling all the way home. Between the luxurious accommodations, spotless property, unbelievably comfortable beds, and the exceptional hospitality from both Naty and Tracy, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando truly exceeded every expectation. We'll absolutely be back—and next time, someone may have to pry me out of that heavenly bed before checkout!

We have made the Waldorf Astoria our July 4th tradition, and this year reminded us exactly why we keep coming back. From the moment we walked in, the VIP concierge team (also before and throughout our stay they emailed us) made us feel like true guests of honor — attentive, warm, and genuinely devoted to making our stay memorable from check-in through check-out. Being a Hilton Honors top-tier member, I felt like a celebrity the entire visit. Our usual corner suite was spacious and spotless, and the fireworks view from our window turned the holiday into something truly magical at a Disney World hotel. Watching the sky light up from that vantage point is an unforgettable experience I'd recommend to anyone visiting during the holiday (Disney fireworks are all year-round). This year was extra special because we celebrated our daughter's 29th birthday in one of the hotel's poolside cabanas, and it could not have gone better. Kara (with her festive 4th headband and birthday flair) went above and beyond to make the celebration feel festive— she had my daughter beaming the entire time, and we were incredibly impressed by her service. No stay at the Waldorf is complete without a stop at the Peacock Alley bar to see Arnold, a fabulous (and cute!) bartender, who is always an absolute pleasure to talk to — genuinely one of the highlights of our visit over the years. Klay (another cutie!) behind the bar has a great attitude and friendly smile. He could stand in (on a movie set) for Bradley Cooper. We enjoyed the World Cup Watch Party (and the mega fans dressed in their football kits) on a big screen television our last night. That was a treat! We also dined at the Bull and Bear, where Zelina (beautiful inside and out) delivered what I can only describe as true 5-star hospitality service — professional, warm, and attentive throughout our many meal courses. The steaks, the escargot gnocchi (it is listed as an entree, but highly recommend it as a shareable starter) and the sides were absolutely delicious, everything you'd want from a true steakhouse. Dessert stole the show — the Ring of Tazu came out with this smoky dry ice presentation that had the nearby tables buzzing, and the cheesecake inside was outstanding. There was also a lovely female server with gorgeous red hair at the restaurant (I regret not catching her name) who was just as kind and thoughtful. On another night, next door at the Hilton, we enjoyed dinner at La Luce, where our waiter Joe (he has a great sense of humor!) provided gracious service that matched the high standard we've come to expect from this Bonnet Creek property. The Italian cuisine was exceptional—truly authentic flavors that felt like one of our trips to Rome: the fritto misto, spaghetti and meatballs, brick oven pizzas— our son ordered a Margarita pizza and loved it so much he ate the entire pie himself! Mamma Mia! I recommend dining there (our reservation was at 7pm) to see a golden hour sunset. As the sun dipped low, fiery orange and soft yellows streamed through the window. Magical. And a shout out to a few more staff members: Naty, at the front desk, who has a beautiful smile and energy, handled our check-in and check-out. She was consistent, kind, professional, and easy to work with (our room occupants had a late checkout) from start to finish — she even called me "Iconic" at check-out, which was such a phenomenally sweet and unexpected compliment. And when it came time to head out, Jared was wonderfully helpful and super friendly, carrying our luggage all the way to the car at valet. Between the exceptional staff, the stunning fireworks view, and the special touches that made our daughter's birthday unforgettable, this stay was everything we hoped for and more. It's the kind of vacation where you're already planning your next trip back before you've even checked out. The Waldorf Astoria will always be our favorite July Fourth destination, and we're already counting down to our return when the weather cools down in mid-September. Cheers to the entire Waldorf Astoria team for another memorable stay!

“This place has so much potential… but!”

We’re currently staying here on a 7 night stay as part of a longer vacation booked through BA. We normally do this trip every 2-3 years and usually stay at the Ritz-Carlton. We’re currently staying here on a 7 night stay as part of a longer vacation booked through BA. We normally do this trip every 2-3 years and usually stay at the Ritz-Carlton. We’re golfers and originally booked the RC and switched to WA when we heard the RC had closed their golf course for maintenance. This place has so much potential but so many things fall short. The rooms with a Disney view also overlook the roof of a hideous conference building facility complete with intrusive AC units that make it impossible to sit on the balcony and enjoy the views let alone sleep peacefully. We were moved when we requested it though it occupied a full half day of our holiday trying to arrange it. The suites are beautiful, except for Disney view We rented a pool Cabana one day, specified which one we wanted, the day before occupancy it was confirmed and then when we set down the next morning we’re told it’s allocated to a corporate client who never turned up. We were still not allowed to use it! The Cabanas are allegedly suitable for 6 people, however they only had 2 loungers. We’re a party of 4 and when we requested 2 more loungers were told that was not permitted so 2 of our party had to sit around the main pool area to get some sun, the alternative was to alternate between the loungers and the sofa in the Cabana, that said we noticed next day that some Cabana’s do in fact have 3 loungers. Included in the price of the Cabana is a beautiful fruit platter which they forgot to serve and then brought it out to us the next day when we’re about to head for lunch. A fruit platter in a Cabana will last all day in the included fridge, it’s just a health hazard sitting on a table between 2 sun lounges in 95’F! When we called the server to remove the platter he asked if we’d removed the clingfilm covering it… good luck to the next client who it’s served to! We played golf and were told that on our first day we could only play the front 9 due to greens maintenance. Then the next day we’re told we can only play the back 9! So we waited 4 days until the work was completed and all 18 were open to play a full round… the greens were like a beach! Covered in aeration holes and white sand, just not playable to any real standard and were told all 18 greens are open and playable… totally unacceptable! There’s a beautiful hammock sun lounge area behind the cabanas, I wouldn’t recommend trying them because you’ll likely get hit with a football by children and teenagers playing there despite the clear evidence that it’s a sunbathing area. At no point did any staff ask these people to play in other areas. We valet parked our car most nights and despite calling the valet from our room before leaving to go out we still waited 15-20 mins for our car. We had lunch 1 day in the bar lounge area, after waiting 30 mins for our dessert the waitress took it off our bill and said it would be out shortly… it wasn’t and we finally surrendered 20 mins later. As were we’re packing our things and leaving the server finally brought our dessert… too late we were already on our way out. The staff are very friendly, though many of them are indifferent to the clients and I just don’t think they’re well trained. We have made management aware of all these issues.

Overall the property looks nice and the food was delicious; however, the room was the main issue. The doors would not close properly and our toddler was getting into the toilets. The sold our room as having a Disney view and you can see about an inch of the top of the Epcot ball, and overall I wouldn’t stay here again. This is my 5th Waldorf property I’ve stayed at and by far the one I won’t come back to. Also, check out is quite early and they refused even an hour or 2 late checkout as a diamond member of over 10 years.
