As WDW annual passholders, my husband and I have stayed at nearly every Disney resort on property, but somehow we had never ventured over to the Swan/Dolphin. After deciding on a whim to take a quick overnight park-date trip, our usual go-to hotels were either fully booked or overpriced, so we decided to give the Swan a try. My only regret is that it took us so many years to do so. Everything about our stay was fantastic, and that is coming from two people who are admittedly pretty hard to please. The food and drinks, while a bit overpriced as expected, truly blew us away in both quality and flavor. Between the atmosphere, dining options, comfortable rooms and incredibly convenient location, the entire stay still felt full of Disney magic. And that’s before even mentioning the fantastic pool, which might just be the best pool of all the Disney-area properties. Yacht Club still has a slight edge for me because I’m a sucker for a lazy river, but the Swan/Dolphin pool area is seriously impressive. The only negatives we encountered were the high cost of overnight parking and our experience at Bourbon Steak. I understand the parking fees are in line with other Orlando-area hotels, but they are certainly not in line with Disney resort parking, which is free for hotel guests. As for Bourbon Steak, the service was so disappointing that we left before ordering. Our server in the bar seemed disinterested at best and told us that none of the cocktails on the bar menu were available because a new menu was rolling out the next day — and that we should just come back then. We left immediately, did not return, and do not plan to. That said, our overall stay at the Swan was wonderful. If the room rate is good enough to justify the added parking cost, we will absolutely be back.

“Great Renovated Rooms and Location”

Stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. The newly updated rooms are wonderful and checked all my boxes. You get access to Crescent Lake, Epcot and Hollywood Studios for a fraction of the cost of the nearby deluxe resorts. Will stay again for sure!

The location is perfect, essentially on the boardwalk with a pleasent 20min stroll to either Hollywood Studios or EPCOT which you can also catch the " friendship" boats to and from. The location is perfect, essentially on the boardwalk with a pleasent 20min stroll to either Hollywood Studios or EPCOT which you can also catch the " friendship" boats to and from. The Swan is far more intimate than the Dolphin giving an overall "nicer" feel. Complex wise the outside facilities are excellent with the fitness center being well equipped, the beach is nice and the pools varied and uncrowded. The rooms are large bright and airy with comfortable beds, they are spotlessly clean. Due to the location there is a massive choice of good restaurants within 5 minutes walk. All in all its a great place to have a more adult Disney break.
