We rented a 4 bedroom house for a month so our family could come for shorter visits. The house was very well kept and close to Disney. Area security was a bit over the top. Pool and hot tub were well maintained but pool chairs were in disrepair and more needed for busier times. There was no place to sit outside the houses which were close to each other which to us means these places are meant for short versus longer visits. As well, a personal exit gate should be placed at the East end of the "wall" so residents can access the Taco Bell, ice cream store or convenience store which are a stone's throw away from the houses but necessitate a longggg walk around the perimeter wall to access.

I would actually review this resort between 3 and 4 rather than a solid. The pros include: The property is in a good location for visiting central Florida. There was a good work out room and a pool. The townhouse we had was fine. It was incredibly clean when we arrived and spacious. The customer service we got from the VRBO rep was EXCELLENT which is why I reviewed this at 4 rather than 3. (i.e. a door came off one of the bedroom closets, there weren't enough pans, there was a problem with the dryer). She addressed each issue IMMEDIATELY and resolved each one in less than 24 hours. You cannot ask for better service.nnThe cons include: The binder booklet that comes with the townhouse seems to offer information for somewhere else. i.e. The information on what to do about trash did not pertain to our townhouse whatsoever. The remotes needed batteries and the binder gave info about where to find them, but there were none. Our biggest issue, however, involved the pool. It was advertised as heated and we took a photo of the information. It was clearly not heated and while Florida was having above normal sunny temps., the pool never warmed up. Several pool chairs were ripped also. The VRBO rep did solve the issue by getting us into a gorgeous pool about 15 minutes away on another property. This pool was wonderful but it was an inconvenience to drive 15 minutes rather than walk the 25 steps (how far West Lucaya's pool was from us).

This resort is nit a resort. It’s townhomes with a small pool and hot tub. The basketball courts didn’t have the hoops set up so the older kids had nothing to do. For the price we could have stayed at another resort or hotel. We had to buy washcloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt and pepper wasn’t even there. For a few days stay this was extremely inconvenient. Hotels at least offer that much. I felt safe being in a gated community until the last night. There was a very large police presence. Many police cars up and down the street, some walking. We were told they were looking for someone. To see 7 police cars in this tiny area….there is only one main road in and out. In the middle of the night I was awaken to someone banging into n a door. I thought it was ours but it was the condo on the other side. The condo was clean. Beds were very uncomfortable. They need replacing. For soap we had enough to run the dishwasher twice. A small bar if soap to wash hands in the bathroom. It offers a washer and dryer but no soap. If they’re fir a week it would make sense to buy soap but it would have been nice to have a couple pods to do our laundry before we left. The big downside was there was no place to sit outside. The weather was gorgeous and in order to sit outside we had to sit either at the pool which many others were there or on the curb. This could be such a great place with a few more things added. They offer towels…why not wash clothes?? The people were friendly. As a family we will not be staying here again. We need at least the essentials. I’ve stayed in Airbnb before and this was lacking
