Lovely hotel. Impeccable service, fabulous decor and amenities. Location was perfect. My only complaint was that I was only there for one night! Will be back for sure.

We only stayed here 1 night because our flight was cancelled and had stayed somewhere else on Singer Island the few days before. For this reason, I am so happy it worked out this way. The Colony is such a beautiful and unique hotel. The service was impeccable, food and drinks were fantastic and our overall experience was amazing. Location is also near everything on Worth Ave. We will definitely return!

The Colony is a beautiful and iconic property with a distinctly Palm Beach feel, and overall we had a good stay. We chose it because it seemed to offer exactly what we were looking for on a trip to the area: a great location, a lively atmosphere, a sense of history, and a more elevated experience than a standard hotel. In a number of ways, it delivered on that. The ambiance is special, the design and character are memorable, and the food and beverage program was genuinely impressive. That said, I do not think the overall experience fully justified the price, and that is what would make me hesitate to stay again. The most disruptive part of our stay was the noise near our room related to housekeeping activity. It appeared there was an adjoining room or service access point nearby, and staff were repeatedly going in and out while cleaning. Each time, the door was slamming forcefully against the frame. This was not a minor background noise or a small inconvenience. It was loud enough to shake and rumble inside our room, and it made it difficult to rest, nap, take a call, or simply relax in the room during those periods. That kind of disruption feels especially noticeable at a hotel in this price range. What made it more frustrating was that it seemed like the kind of thing that should be relatively easy to prevent operationally. I tried to explain it to a staff member in the moment, but there seemed to be a communication barrier, and when I contacted housekeeping directly, I did not get the sense that the concern was really understood or addressed. The other disappointment was the arrival experience. We arrived early because our flight landed ahead of schedule, and we fully understood that check-in was later in the afternoon. We were not expecting immediate access to the room and were simply asking where we could comfortably wait in the meantime. Unfortunately, the interaction at the front desk came across as stiff and somewhat condescending rather than warm or genuinely helpful. The check-in time was repeated multiple times even though we had already acknowledged it, and the conversation felt more procedural than hospitable. At a hotel in this category, tone and authenticity matter, and that part of the experience felt off. So overall, I would describe it as a good stay at a beautiful property, with a lot going for it. The setting, energy, and history are all appealing, and the food and drinks were a real highlight. But for the rate we paid, we expected a higher level of service, more polish, and more consistency in the experience. We have stayed at other luxury properties where that difference is very noticeable. This was not a bad stay, and I do not want to make it sound like it was. But it also did not feel like a particularly strong value. If the pricing were more aligned with the level of service and overall experience, we would consider returning. Otherwise, we would likely explore other options in the area next time.
