“Solid hotel, great location”

I recently stayed at the hotel for a work trip. The rooms were clean and there were good breakfast options. The lemon water was a nice touch. My priority was having a short commute and there were several restaurants nearby to choose from. It was in a great location. Towards the end of my trip there was no hot water and the hotel had to replace the water heater. It was done relatively quickly. Mark, the manager, and the front desk clerk were very helpful and as accommodating as they could be under the circumstances.

While I appreciate the apology and quick response from the manager, especially in the early evening which is pretty rare, definitely had some issues at this property. While I appreciate the apology and quick response from the manager, especially in the early evening which is pretty rare, definitely had some issues at this property. It's a little on the older side, for example, the lamps are extremely rusty. There's only one elevator and it's typically pretty slow. The lobby had overflowing garbage, food on the floor that had been stepped in and slid across etc. My room smelled like smoke and chlorine and I'm guessing what would be cleaner slopped on the desk and a nightstand. They canceled the room I was in and had booked and didn't let me know until I got to my room. I found it an email which wasn't there when I ckecked in and they didn't even mention to me anything about it and I had to follow up and make sure I got the right room rate. Even though my room was ready, I was not allowed to check in early nor was I recognized as a choice. Member. Yet I saw her allow someone else to check in right after me. Woman at the front desk kept telling people she was out of everything and wouldn't give anybody towels and she turned around and gave someone towels. Her demeanor was on the brusk side.. It was a strange experience and I would probably not stay there again.

“Beware of check in”

Stay was for 4 nights. Hotel does not accept cash for partial or full payment of deposit or bill. There is no sign about cash not being accepted. Issue with credit card at checkin. Credit card company said my account was ok but there have been issues from that hotel with fraudulent charges which is… more

Stay was for 4 nights. Hotel does not accept cash for partial or full payment of deposit or bill. There is no sign about cash not being accepted. Issue with credit card at checkin. Credit card company said my account was ok but there have been issues from that hotel with fraudulent charges which is why the credit card company would not accept the charge. Toilet did not flush properly. Indicated that to front desk after first night but no indication it ever was looked at or any attempt to fix. Room was on 3rd floor south side of hallway and AC did not keep room cool; however there was a heat advisory with temps in the mid to upper 90s.
