I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the Hampton Inn Panama City Beach, especially Anthony, Tony and Annysam. My partner has ALS and uses a wheelchair. We flew in from California, arriving nearly two hours late because of flight delays. Then we had issues with our rental car and didn’t receive the vehicle we had reserved. To make matters worse, when we finally arrived at our Airbnb around midnight, we discovered it was not wheelchair accessible despite confirming accessibility with the host before booking. We spent four exhausting hours sitting in the driveway trying to figure out what to do. At 5:00 a.m., we called the Hampton Inn Panama City Beach. Anthony answered the phone, listened to our situation with genuine compassion, and immediately put us at ease. He told us to come over, got us into a room right away, and explained that an ADA-accessible room would be available the following day. He even left detailed notes for the next shift so that everything would go smoothly. Anthony set the tone for our entire stay, and his thoughtfulness and outstanding customer service were a major reason we felt comfortable and cared for from the very beginning. The next day, Tony’s customer service was every bit as exceptional as Anthony’s. He personally hand-delivered our new room keys, reassured us that there was no rush to move rooms, and made the entire transition seamless. His professionalism, attention to detail, and warm, caring attitude turned what could have been another stressful situation into an easy one. Tony clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows in the way he treats guests. That evening, Annysam was equally wonderful. Our air conditioner and room phone had stopped working, and when we mentioned it to her on our way out for dinner, she immediately apologized and assured us it would be taken care of. While waiting to speak with her, I watched her interact with several other guests. She remained friendly, professional, poised and efficient with every single person. It was genuinely impressive to see someone provide that level of customer service under pressure. After one of the most stressful travel experiences we’ve ever had, Anthony, Tony, and Annesam restored our faith in both customer service and human kindness. They treated us with empathy, dignity and genuine care when we needed it most. Hampton Inn is incredibly fortunate to have these three employees on their team. They turned what could have been a disastrous trip into a positive experience, and we will never forget their kindness. Thank you, Anthony, Tony and Annesam! ❤️
