Great place to stay, clean and friendly staff. I will definitely choose it again.

It was easy to get in and out of. The kids enjoyed the pool, breakfast was good. Wish there was a counter in the bathroom, there is only a sink so no place to set your toothbrush or anything.

I recently stayed at this property for a short vacation getaway. Before arriving, I called Wyndham to confirm my reservation and was told the security deposit would be $50. However, when I checked in, I was informed the deposit was actually $100. On the positive side, the refrigerator in my room was not working when I arrived, but maintenance responded quickly and fixed the issue the same day. I also requested a first-floor room near an exterior entrance, and the location of my room was excellent with convenient parking. Unfortunately, several issues occurred during my stay. On my third day, I requested housekeeping and left the property for several hours. When I returned, the room had not been serviced, and at no time was my Do Not Disturb sign displayed. Later that evening, I requested towels since housekeeping had not come, but I was repeatedly told that the request would be forwarded to the team. The most concerning incident happened late that night when I was awakened by someone attempting to enter my room. Thankfully, we had the security latch engaged. When I reported it, I was told it was not a staff member and that it must have been another guest’s mistake. This left me with a serious question: Why would another guest have access to my room key? I was unable to get back to sleep because I did not know what had happened or whether my room was secure. When I inquired further, including asking about security cameras, I received no meaningful follow-up. There was no apology, no indication that anyone would review the cameras, and no reassurance regarding guest safety. Instead, I felt my concerns were dismissed with excuses. As a manager of a Wyndham property myself, I understand that issues can happen at any hotel. What matters is how those issues are handled. I even noted when making my reservation that I was traveling for a brief getaway while grieving the loss of my son. While I appreciate the room location and the prompt maintenance response, the lack of housekeeping, poor communication, and the serious security concern involving my room door left me disappointed with my overall experience. I know that some issues can happen at any hotel, but someone attempting to come into my room is a safety issue that should be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. Before checking out, I stripped the bedding, including the pillows, gathered and bagged the towels, and even bagged the trash to make things easier for housekeeping. I also took pictures of the room condition and submitted them through Canary.
