Beach Review  If you’re heading to the Palm Beach Singer Island Marriott for the beach, I wish someone had warned me. The “beach” was basically unusable—huge piles of seagrass everywhere, and the smell was honestly awful. Because so much of the shoreline was covered, the chairs were crammed so close together that I felt like I was going to trip just trying to get to mine. When I asked for a table, the beach crew brought one that was dirty. For a $35 resort fee, I expected at least a clean setup and someone taking a moment to brush off sand or wipe things down between guests. The whole experience felt more chaotic than relaxing.  Hotel property The Marriott Singer Island is a beautiful property and a great place for a relaxing stay during the week. From Monday through Friday, the atmosphere is peaceful, and guests are considerate of one another’s space. Weekends, however, bring a very different crowd. Many local groups check in on Friday and stay through Sunday, often packing large suites with several people. The issue isn’t the number of guests it’s the behavior. Some of these weekend groups can be loud, dismissive, and focused only on claiming their preferred spots, with little regard for other guests who are also paying to enjoy the resort. If you’re looking for a calm, respectful environment, weekdays are truly the best time to visit.  Front desk staff I would like to share some feedback regarding the front desk experience during this stay. Unfortunately, I have never encountered such consistently disappointing service at a hotel of this caliber. The staff rarely smile or make any effort to create a welcoming atmosphere. When I arrived on Sunday and provided my last name, I was told there was no reservation under that name—only to discover the staff member was searching under the wrong name. I was then given a room packet with an incorrect room number. For a property of this level, these are mistakes and behaviors I would expect from a far lower‑tier hotel, not a luxury brand. I wanted to bring this to your attention so it can be addressed. Hotel cleaning service. I am genuinely disappointed with the inconsistency of the housekeeping at this hotel. After more than a week here, I still cannot understand why the room is not cleaned the same way each day. Some staff seem to care, while others clearly do not. I have not seen a single supervisor or manager inspecting rooms for cleanliness, which explains the lack of standards. Despite the recent renovations, the upkeep simply isn’t there. Our carpet hasn’t been vacuumed once during our stay—I even left small items on the floor intentionally, and they remain untouched. If the hotel is going to invest in improvements, the staff needs to take pride in maintaining them. Right now, that is not happening. Adult pool The adult pool by its very name should be reserved for adults looking to relax. Unfortunately, some parents chose to ignore the posted rules and allowed their children to play football in the water, disrupting what should have been a quiet space. It was disappointing to see a lack of etiquette and respect for others, especially when the hotel provides an excellent kid’s pool designed specifically for families. Many of us come to the adult area to unwind without children running around, and it’s frustrating when basic pool rules aren’t enforced or followed. The property itself is wonderful, but clearer enforcement of the adult‑only designation would go a long way toward preserving the experience for guests who value a peaceful environment. Hotel ground appearance The hotel recently completed a renovation, but honestly, it reminds me of the endless Apple updates on my phone — we’re on update 26 and I still can’t tell what changed. The one thing that really needs attention is the patio tile. It’s dirty, and since it’s the first thing guests see when heading to the beach or pool, it sets the wrong tone. The gazebo is also overdue for an update. The waterfalls were another disappointment. They were still cleaning the fountains during my stay, which is something you’d expect to be handled in the off‑season, not while guests are paying full price. Overall, the “renovation” didn’t feel like much of an upgrade.
