Over the past four years, the staff has made this hotel feel like our Tampa home away from home. Katrina at the front desk has been a constant bright spot, always welcoming us with genuine warmth every time we arrived or left, no matter how many times a day she saw us. David from housekeeping, originally from Cuba, has been an absolute delight—always kind, always engaging, and clearly proud of the work he does. Rosemary, the night auditor, has greeted us with the same pleasant attitude whether it was 2 a.m. or 3 a.m., which speaks volumes about her professionalism and care. I would also like to recognize former employee Ciara Briggs-Hall. From our very first interaction, we connected instantly, and she made us feel like family. Like Katrina, she never missed an opportunity to greet us with kindness and sincerity. Lastly, I want to acknowledge Deven, the General Manager. It is clear that he leads by example. In hospitality, it is difficult to retain great people unless they feel valued, supported, and respected. The consistency and quality of this team speak directly to his leadership. Every conversation we’ve had with him has reinforced that he cares deeply about both his staff and the Marriott brand. “okay for a night”

dark hallways, supportive staff members, okay suites that need a revamp, no alligators nearby, and comfortable rooms. Front desk staff super chill. Didnt care to be recognized as a platinum elite since the hotel is one of a few area hotels moffitt uses to house their patients.
