We could not have been more pleased with our stay at this hotel. Every single person working there kept the hotel extremely clean and more important, made us feel welcome and wanted. The room was just right with the separate living area and two televisions. The breakfast was a full-on breakfast with excellent omelets, made to order. A small machine helps you click on what ingredients you you want in your omelet. You then take the number sign and place it where you choose to eat. Coffee, juice, fruit, potatoes, etc. are available to eat and your omelet is brought to the table. Both days it was excellent. There were other choices for breakfast as well. Dishes are quickly gathered as each table is vacated so that the next guests can sit there. There was never a wait for a table. The room is quite large. The evening treats were good as were the drinks. A little yellow card is given to you at check-in and then the bartender marks on it, allowing you to have two drinks. We didn't know that Georgia had a law that everyone ordering liquor must be carded, no matter the age. The location of the hotel is just a block down the street to MLK Blvd., across that and over a store and there is the Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus "depot." You can sign up for this ahead of time, but it appeared that just going there, paying, and getting on worked well. It was great having it so close by. We did take Uber a few times downtown or to Mrs. Wilkes once. For those people who choose not to bring a car, this is very convenient and each time the Uber arrived at the hotel within two to four minutes and was a fraction of the cost of it in our city. One little thing I liked at the hotel was how the shower/tub was not slippery. This may not seem like a big deal, but I find it important for myself. Next time in Savannah, this is the place we will stay. We highly recommend it to others.

Parking tip to avoid hotel parking charges - the public garage at 132 Montgomery Street (Robinson Car Park) is a four minute walk from the hotel and has rates less than half what the hotel charges. Parking tip to avoid hotel parking charges - the public garage at 132 Montgomery Street (Robinson Car Park) is a four minute walk from the hotel and has rates less than half what the hotel charges. We paid 36 dollars total for two nights (arriving at 4pm and departing at 10am two days later). Hotel parking rate is the only negative at this hotel (and avoidable with a few extra minutes of time.) This was otherwise a great hotel. Very clean, exceptionally quiet, and safe neighborhood. Friendly staff. We had room 544 and it was at the end of a hallway tucked in a corner - super quiet. The neighborhood seemed super safe - we parked the car once and then walked everywhere (this is a super walkable location) and never saw a single thing that gave us pause or concern. We had no issues at breakfast (although we can see how it could get chaotic during busy times). We enjoyed the free drinks during happy hour (even though they were basic and the cheapest stuff - I am not complaining about free!) Overall a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

“Great hotel, great location”

We really enjoyed staying at the Embassy Suites in Savannah. The rooms were large and comfortable, the breakfast was really good, and the service was very nice too. Very good value for the height of azalea season in March. We would stay here again.
