I was extraordinarily impressed with this motel! I stayed for 4 nights/3 days, my cat and I escaping a serious winter storm with a potential power outage. Hypothermia is not my preferred way to die... The room was huge, the king bed taking up only 1/3 or less of the space. The bathroom was full, with tub/toilet/sink and large counter and enough room for the cat litter box (none of this space -the -size -of -a -broom -closet with shower and toilet, and sink outside). The floors are fake wood, but solid, not thin vinyl. I loved the desk, with an under layer that pulls out to make a very serviceable work space and a decent desk chair. Other details that I appreciated: 3 hooks on the wall next to the full length mirror, so I could hang my winter coat and vest easily; the mini-fridge was the maxi-mini, no freezer (unfortunately) but that left even more room for all the food I brought, thinking I might be staying longer. The couch (convertable I suspect) with its small table with one side open so you can pull it close when sitting on the couch, and even an ottoman in the corner. And even more amazing for the price of the room: new, thick cotton towels and large pump bottles of hand soap and lotion by the sink, and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the tub - not small little travel sample size items. Two more things I loved: the quite large breakfast area is open 24/7, with hot water and coffee available anytime as well as the toaster and microwave - I'm a toast-a-holic and travel with my own gluten free bread. I could have my evening toast snack - what luxury when away from home! But the best thing of all, that I was SO grateful for: unscented cleaning products!!! The room did not give me a headache!! Did I mention the room was clean, and relatively new so still in great shape, nothing broken or peeling or moldy... and quiet (but maybe that's because it's off season?) And last but not least, the staff were all kind. Only one thing was not up to this excellent quality: the sheets. Very thin microfiber that don't breathe and feel plastic-y. Probably wouldn't bother most people, and I'm sure better for the laundry volume of a motel - but I'm a cotton gal myself. The bed was on the soft side but no body aches in the morning so not a "sinker". Amenities and cleanliness that you would find in a much pricier motel, what a nice surprise!
