“Very friendly staff”
Very friendly staff. Scott at check- in great and ladies at desk in morning also wonderful (who were doubling in the breakfast area). Room showing wear but comfortable. Breakfast usual Hampton fare. Reasonable rates. Highly recommend if you are staying in the Jacksonville atea.

“Poorly hired or trained front desk staff”
It's clean & has a typical breakfast. But the training or hiring or both just doesn't result in capable front-desk staff. If I return to Jacksonville, I'll stay at whatever is the 2nd-highest-rated hotel instead.

“Old, tired, and cramped”
This Hampton seemed old, tired, and forced to fit into a small geographic area. An annoyance: no staff wore name tags. The room air conditioning unit was very noisy. “Average Hampton”
This Hampton was cheaper than any other I have stayed. My bed was comfortable, room clean aside from hair on floor and in sink.
