We chose this hotel because we were travelling with our dog and only staying one night, so it was the most cost effective choice. Driving up to the hotel our expectations were low, being right next to a gas station and generally in an industrial or strip mall area. The grounds and parking lot were clean, but the green area was a bit small. Inside everything from the front desk to our room was clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The TV or TV reception was fairly poor. I tried playing with the settings, but couldn't get it fixed. It seemed too bright and grainy. The breakfast was about on par with other Best Westerns we've stayed at. The staff were very friendly.

For full disclosure, the only reason we chose this hotel was because we wanted to use the small amount of points we had so our expectations were low. When we arrived, our low expectations were met because it didn't look well maintained on the outside and while waiting to check in, someone who apparently had just checked in was at the desk reporting some kind of problem (we think they found a bug in their room). Now having said all of that, we checked in and went to our room before unloading anything and found our room to be spacious and clean and well maintained. We decided to stay and had a great night sleep after a great dinner recommendation from the front desk attendant. So, we would stay here again if we're in the area and looking for something clean and simple.

Pre-booked and they were ready for us BUT. The AC in the room was set for 30C which is almost 87F. We turned it down to a reasonable level but it took over four hours for the room to cool off. Please advise the staff that if you leave the AC at 76F you save tons of money on electricity and wear and tear on the machine - not to mention you would have gotten a better rating from me. Also. Free breakfast needs to be made and placed out for the guests. You don't get to sit behind the counter and read while the supplies run out. The other guests. Seriously! If you spill your food all over the center of the hallway carpet get a towel out of your room and pick your mess up. I don't care what colour your skin is. My Mama raised me to be considerate. Sad that your Mama raised an entitled witch.
