“Good stay near South Bend”

This hotel seemed newish, was very clean, comfortable, and convenient for visiting our friends in South Bend. We stayed one night. Great bed and shower, good breakfast, friendly staff -- everything you expect from a Hampton, at a reasonable price.

This place is awesome! From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly and helpful providing us with curtesy waters on the 92 degree day! Our room was spacious and super clean and the bed was super comfortable and warm. The shower was really large and came loaded with quality soaps and shampoos. I crushed and upper body workout in their gym that came loaded with dumbells and machines as well as treadmills and bikes. After that I relaxed in the pool which was clean and warm and then it was off to bed. Inthe morning I enjoyed a free hot breakfast of eggs, toast and sausage but the also had oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, omelets and tons of other stuff. This hotel is right next to a huge grocery store and a variety if other shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back.

Our visit was exceptional! Everything about this property, and especially the employees, was far beyond the ordinary. This review will concentrate on a number of factors such as cleanliness, service, location and food. CLEANLINESS--Our room was fresh and clean, very clean; garbage cans empty and fresh plastic containers inside; the tv remote and telephone handle were clean to the touch ( yes, I look at these things ); a swipe of my finger counter tops and end tables showed no dust. Bathroom spotless; linens were fresh, no spots and no stains; solid stream of hot water and long safety bar in shower greatly appreciated. SERVICE--It seemed like every employee at this property had a smile on his or her face...always! Front desk check-n was smooth and quick, with smiles. While waiting for my wife on a number of occasions in the morning I repeatedly heard the front desk employee, Brian, say " Good morning, have a pleasant day." He said this to guests who were not even looking at him. I need to point out another employee who was absolutely outstanding in her contact with my wife and I. Her name is Holly ( Hollie?) who also is normally at the front desk from what I could tell. One evening I advised that the tv was not working. She came to our room with a new remote control but that didn't work. Some 15 minutes later she arrived at our door carrying a huge replacement tv that seemed bigger than herself. She refused to let me help her and she carried the tv into our room, moved the stand and hooked it up. She then, again with smiles, carried the old tv out of the room, refusing my help. Another story with Holly: when she learned that my wife had slipped at the airport and fell a few hours before our check in she was kind enough to provide some extra pillows for my wife to raise her leg while in bed. Kudos to this young lady who represents the staff at this Hilton. FOOD--The breakfast was perfectly fine. I filled up on oatmeal, blueberry muffins, yogurt, eggs ( hard boiled or scrambled), orange juice, tangerines and bananas, and some great coffee. There are other options as well. In conclusion, my wife and I would certainly stay here again. We had a very pleasant stay. Please note that I believe this Hilton is only about 3 and a half miles away from Notre Dame if you are visiting there. On my way out I grabbed the business card of the hotel's General Manager, Jason Stanfill. My comment to Mr. Stanfill is that you have an exceptional staff and property.

“Good stay here”

Good stay here; they were welcoming and helpful. Good bed and the WiFi was great. Breakfast was OK. The room was nice and they have free parking. Also, they have a good location and are near restaurants, etc. They are close to the interstate, so that is helpful.
