Overall this hotel is perfectly ok. Its location is good, several restaurants close. We had a 1 night stay in a 2 kings one bedroom suite. It is very close to the expressway though, so you hear the road noise (it didn’t bother me, but light sleepers may have issues). The staff was very friendly. The room was ok, it was a nice size, one big problem is the bed that is next to the window is right against the ac unit so you can’t walk through there, you have to crawl in from the bottom of the bed. The room overall was clean (although the headboard hasn’t been cleaned in a long while). The bathroom…water pressure and temp was good. Shower head was about 6ft up. Problems with the bathroom were #1, only 1/2 roll of toilet paper was in the room and #2, only 3 towels & wash cloths even though there were 4 people on our reservation. There was a small microwave, refrigerator and kurig in our room. There is a small gym and pool (I didn’t use either since they were full with kids at the time). I also didn’t eat the breakfast since we had to leave before it started.

“Dont stay if sensitive to highway noise.”

Okay Holiday Inn Express with two king beds in standard room. Lots of noise from interstate even on opposite of hotel. Pancake machine was broken and no boiled eggs

The hotel was fine - a normal Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was great. It was pretty loud being right next to the expressway, so we put our Fan on the AC/Heating unit on Constant mode and that helped. If you are a light sleeper, you might not like this hotel. The hotel was fine - a normal Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was great. It was pretty loud being right next to the expressway, so we put our Fan on the AC/Heating unit on Constant mode and that helped. If you are a light sleeper, you might not like this hotel. The room was huge with two King-size beds. A couple of minor issues. The tile floor in the bathroom and foyer was not very clean and there was hair in the bathtub, though the rest of the room was plenty clean. When I booked, I put a note in my reservation requesting a quiet room... and they assigned us a room right next to the expressway. Luckily the person who checked us in caught that [I double-checked to make sure we would be in a quiet room] and she moved us. When we went to our room, on the opposite side of the hotel from the expressway, it was still quite loud. Come to find out the window was cracked open... and we could not close it! I went to call the front desk and the room phone was dead. So I used my cell phone and called the front desk to ask for maintenance or a new room, and she said there was no maintenance person available. It was mid-day on a Monday. She then offered us the original room we had been assigned - the one right next to the expressway! I said no thank you and asked if there were any other rooms, and she said she was hesitant to move us because her manager had chewed her out yesterday for moving a person three times for "little things." She said, "First that lady said the sheets were damp, then she said..." I cut her off. I told her while I appreciated that she did not want to tick off her manager, our window was stuck open and that was unacceptable. While talking to her, my husband did manage to get it closed but he had to work at it for several minutes. God only knows if we could have gotten that window open in an emergency - and not having a working room phone was nerve-wracking. Long story short, I did not appreciate the way the front desk staff handled the situation.
