The Hyatt Place at Indianapolis Airport is top-notch. Location to the airport is fabulous with a gas station directly across the street making it easy to fill up a rental car just before returning to the airport. We tried a new Brand of hotel this time hoping that we'd experience a step-up from our normal brand of hotel. We were not disappointed. As there is always room for improvement, I would suggest purchasing some new bath towels. They were clean but a little rough on the skin. It's the details that can make a place really stand out. As others have reviewed, the front desk staff is absolutely phenomenal. They truly make you feel welcomed and a part of the Hyatt family.

Admittedly, I did not know what to expect. This Hyatt Place is an older property, built, I believe, well before the brand was launched. Similar vintage properties often feel tired or dumpy. That is not the case here. This particular Hyatt Place is not franchised; it is operated by Hyatt corporate. These days, that distinction matters. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the overall decor is attractive. Frankly, it felt more premium than some Hyatt Regency properties. Cleanliness was excellent throughout, both in public areas and in my guest room. In terms of services, it is still a Hyatt Place, so offerings are limited. That said, the small bar and bistro appeared to have a slightly expanded food menu. Nothing exceptional — think burgers, wraps, salads, and similar fare — but adequate if you need something convenient on property. There is also a bar. The wine selection included Line 39, which is a noticeable improvement over the cheap and just-plain-awful Hyatt-branded Canvas wines. I experienced only two minor issues during my stay. First, I was confirmed into a high-floor room away from the elevator. While I did receive a high-floor room, it was located directly next to the elevator. I returned to the front desk and was promptly reassigned to a room farther down the hallway. Second, the hotel does not provide lotion in guest rooms. Neither my original room nor the replacement room had any, and I assume this is standard across the property. Additionally, when I requested mouthwash, I was told the hotel did not carry it. These are minor issues, but the room location issue could have been avoided had more attention been paid to the preferences noted on both the reservation and my Globalist profile — especially since the request was confirmed in advance. Breakfast is complimentary for all guests. The selection is somewhat basic but serviceable. The fitness center is small but better than average for the brand. One practical note: despite marketing itself as an airport-area hotel, this property seems a little farther away than you might expect. The drive is approximately 6 miles and about 10 minutes with no traffic. The shuttle appeared to run every 30 minutes, so depending on timing, using Uber or a taxi may be quicker. Overall, this is a significantly better-than-average Hyatt Place. It is well run, clean, and staffed by a professional and responsive team. I would consider staying here again.

I'm not going to lie, I stayed here because it was one of the cheapest hotels I could find on a weekend the town the wedding I was going to was in was inundated with football fans. So I expected a commensurate level of quality and service (and noisy football fans). Well! Let me tell you! 11/10 stars on everything! Starting with Monica at the front sending me the shuttle and telling me how to get to it from inside the airport, to the restaurant being open for people with late flights and late check ins, to the amazing bed that didn't freeze my butt off like so many do, everything was perfect. The entire staff, with Monica heading up the impression, treated me with unparalleled kindness. And it was super quiet, too!

“Another awesome stay”

As always I have an excellent stay at this Hyatt Place. Staff are attentive , 24 hour shuttle service , great on site restaurant, nice clean rooms, what not to like
