“Probably the most delightful and memorable stay we have had in a hotel or motel.”
Like a step back in time. No pool or exercise room, but the atmosphere and decor of the hotel and old-time congeniality and friendliness of the owner/proprietor was worth far more than such extras. “Like stepping back in time, peaceful and easy.”
It was amazing! A beautiful historically authentic experience. Lots of antiques and pretty wallpaper, dark and quiet at night, so we slept well. “Fun to stay here.”
Older 1900s hotel. It was clean and fun to stay at. In a great location. Fort Scott is a pretty town with lots of history. The Courtland Hotel and day spa had character, it was unique. The best part is talking to the owner and learning the history of the town.

“Vintage Gem”
We had a wonderful 5 day stay. The hotel is full of vintage charm!! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and again, charming! We were right in the heart of town with shops and restaurants within an easy walk. We will definitely go back the best time we're in Fort Scott!!
