Music enthusiasts will be interested to know that the city of Morehead is nestled at the crossroads of two distinctly American art forms: Appalachian Mountain music and authentic Kentucky bluegrass. This musical heritage is celebrated annually during the Clack Mountain Music Festival each June and the Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival each September. As well as being a scenic place for hiking and mountain biking, the Appalachian foothills and the Daniel Boone National Forest provide rock climbing opportunities for the thrill seeker. The hotel is also within easy reach of sailing excursions on Cave Run Lake and Eagle Lake, professional calibre golf courses and history-rich folk art galleries. “A Great Stay”
Super service at the front desk, and a very nice clean room, spacious and well-appointed. Great location too, just off the interstate and near some nice places to shop and eat. Room, bathroom, and all the areas are very clean, adn the staff is cheerful and helpful. Easy 5.

Lady at desk was amazingly nice, very clean hotel and will stay again. Everything as I expected it. Stay was great and quiet and conveniently located near interstate. As I travel will be staying here again.

“A little sketch…”
I stayed here while traveling through town on work and found this hotel to be very so-so. It’s located conveniently off the highway, although the turn to get into the hotel can be tricky. Staff was all very nice, but the hotel is super run down and this part of town is very country. Not a problem f… more
