“Character that Won't Break the Bank”
Overall positive experience starting right from the early check-in at 2 pm. Room was clean, quiet, nicely decorated, well maintained. Great location, good value. Enjoyed the bar for a nightcap and decompress from the day. Would stay again.

“Staff are Excellent”
The St. James' staff and property location are the reasons for reserving this property. The building/rooms/common areas need "obvious" refurbishing / upgrading ... please St. James, reinvest in the property now, bring the property totally to the level of the staff ... which is absolutely wonderful!!

Very disappointed. Hotel was rated 4 stars but I gave 3 hesitantly. First complaint: not enough towels, no glasses, Keurig coffee machine was not plugged in, had to put it on the floor in a different location to find a plug to use it. No extra roll of toilet paper and only 1/2 of roll on holder. … more
