Great location. The room was clean enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Good options for breakfast, and the lobby area was great with many seating options where you could relax or eat. The mini-restaurant came in handy during the snow storm and the staff was great. Upon check-in, Lainey was great in keeping me posted on the storm--and kept me safe by recommending the state roads during storm travel. Plenty of parking. I'll definitely be coming back.

I was totally disappointed, as I had read good reviews. I will never go to a Hyatt again! If what I experienced, is what Hyatt is giving their customers, I will stick with Residence Inns!!! I have never been disappointed there. Every city I go to I usually stay at a Residence Inn, the quality is superior,l in every aspect, but not at Hyatt in Malta, New York. The thermostat did not increase the room temperature. The shower pulsed from other people using the showers in their rooms and the worst thing of all was the terrible offerings for breakfast. The cheese omelette was a round premade, probably powdered egg with spreadable cheese substitute in the middle. They called it a cheese omelette. It was some type of processed spread smeared in the middle of a circle and folded over. I didn’t eat it. It sat on my plate and when it was cold, I could still spread their “cheese”, around with a knife. It was not real cheese. It was some type of artificially flavored cheese spread. None of the foods were labeled, so it was hard to know what anything was. But I asked about the egg and they told me it was, ”a cheese omelette”. Everything was of very low quality. The bagels were just like dough, not the consistency of a bagel at all. The sad thing is there were two large groups of young people there, a group of basketball players and a group of hikers. I can’t imagine having these nutrient deficient breakfasts and then going off to have a day of sports. There were also no alternatives, no gluten-free options, no dairy free options. I usually stay at a Residence Inn, but I chose this Hyatt because I was in the area, for a funeral and the choices were limited. I expected a breakfast at least comparable to a Residence Inn. It was not. I don’t believe anything there was nutritious other than possibly the fresh fruit salad. A room pre-set at 68° and not adjustable, an awful shower experience and food that was not edible. It was just under $250, very expensive for what I was given.
