“Consistently good experience”

I stay here often for business travel, and the experience is consistently a good one. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. I didn't have breakfast on this stay, but it is typically always on par with Hampton Inn breakfast offerings.

“Great one night stay”

Stayed for one night. Room smelled good. It was clean. We were given 3 water bottles at check in. Weight room looked nice. Bathroom was clean. There was also a tour group staying there. We would definitely stay again.

“Housekeeping needs some work”

Just completed a few nights at this property recently for work. It was three sleepless nights. I previously stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it seems over the years, management has stopped the upkeep of the property. From the outside and lobby area it looks like every Hampton Inn. No frills but free breakfast and generally nice lobby area. Check in was ok - I arrived shortly after the check in time and they tried to put me in another room completely opposite of the room preference I picked ahead of time on the app. Their reason was that housekeeping had not finished the maintenance of my selected room. After I told them I’d wait, they called upstairs and it turns out HK was just not informing of them of completion. Front desk agent was pleasant however security must not be of any concern as he verbally announced my room number and name out loud. The room was much larger than I expected which was nice. What wasn’t nice was the smell that greeted me by the front door of the room every day nor the visible hairs in the bathroom or the questionable blob of something that came out of the shower when I ran the water on the first day. I’m not the type of person that goes around looking for dirt in corners of the room but it was hard to notice that HK did the bare minimum and left. At least the bed was cleaned but pillows smelled musty. Air conditioning was a struggle in the commons areas of the hotel. Like other Hampton Inns, breakfast is available and generally can find something to eat. As far as Hampton Inns go, cleanliness at this location needs work but the rest of the hotel is on par with this category of hotels. Since this is Aberdeen, there’s really no such thing as a nice hotel anyway so this is as good as it gets.

Very dated! Rooms undesirable. Rugs smell in room. Bathroom shower faucet we had to rig it to get warm water otherwise scalding water poured out. Very dated! Rooms undesirable. Rugs smell in room. Bathroom shower faucet we had to rig it to get warm water otherwise scalding water poured out. Apparently pets are allowed there rugs smell of disinfectant and musty odor. Fortunately we used automatic check in on Hilton app. Otherwise we would have had to wait as the person at front desk was on a personal call and had no intention of acknowledging us. This after a 9 hour drive 95 North!!
