We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing setting. Watching the sunset over the bay was the perfect way to unwind after a day at the beach. The pool area was clean and inviting, and the overall atmosphere made for a great stay. Highly recommend booking a bayfront room!

“Convenient and priced right for offseason”

We spent one night midweek offseason, we were in town for a funeral. Front desk was courteous, room clean and nicely maintained. The thermostat was touchy - it was 66 when we got to the room and took several minutes of fiddling to get the heat to come on. Our room faced Coastal Highway. Since it was mid-February there wasn’t much traffic late at night, but it was audible. I suspect it could be bothersome in the warmer months. Breakfast was good, and we really enjoyed the view over the bay. The outdoor pool area was lovely, but at 25 degrees we didn’t venture out. The price was right and we had a good stay.

“Renovations and nose.”

I use to love this hotel but this stay not son much! The lower 300 rooms facing the street are noisy. But I accepted that. I use to love this hotel but this stay not son much! The lower 300 rooms facing the street are noisy. But I accepted that. The biggest disappointment is the indoor pool and only hot tub is closed for remodeling. (They do tell you on the website) but it’s a let down on rainy days. Also during the week the tiki bar was not open the days we stayed there. I guess lees people in the hotel during the week but it’s still a disappointment. Breakfast is ok and rooms are clean and my kids made the best of it. But I’ll probably give it a few years before I come back.

“Disappointing Second Visit”

Booked a long weekend 2/14-2/17 with the same expectations we had as guests in mid-August. Booked a long weekend 2/14-2/17 with the same expectations we had as guests in mid-August. We always visit 2-3 times a year from Wildwood and seek a dog friendly property with a good indoor pool and hot tub. The trip in August was absolutely fine, but this trip was a huge let down. We made a reservation on the Hilton app for a King, and the room was a double. Got some excuse on we used a third party bla bla bla and we did not. We were given a King that was a ADA room I guess with the door bell. That was an ok fix. Now the pool area. I did call Thursday night to confirm the pool/hot tub was working. They said on the phone “I guess”. I asked again and they confirmed at the time everything was running. Entered the pool Friday evening and it was pretty cold. The ‘whirlpool’ was cold as well. The hot tub was only ‘very warm’. Came back Sunday afternoon and it was cooler than Friday. Politely asked them at the front desk if they could turn up the temperature please. The lady called on the radio. Now here is where the wheels fell off the truck. I passed the same maintenance guy on the way down the hallway a few minutes earlier and commented that I hope the hot tub is warmer. He said it’s running fine. He came back to the pool area and went into the room and came back out and said it will be warmer in a few minutes. 30 minutes later it was still on the cooler side and that evening it was not any warmer. Wouldn’t have just been easier to say it’s slow this off season due to renovations and we are saving some $$$. Look I get it things happen but these are basic Hilton requirements to be a franchise operation. And also don’t forget to remove the disposable gloves from the alarm heads when the guys aren’t working. See photo.
