I give five stars to this hotel ,because it's clean and updated. We had some difficulties with booking through hotels.com and not getting room it was promised us at time of booking on the phone. When we arrived at hotel and explained situation, Paula at hotel reception was so nice and ofered us better room. We can enjoy our vacation without disappointment thanks to Paula. Thank you

“Great location, mostly positive with some caveats.”

Good location with a private beach. We had an ocean front room on the lobby 1st floor level. It was strange to get to the room as there was no direct route. You had to go up the stairs or the elevator to the second floor, then back down to the first floor and it was like a strange maze. The room w… more

Good location with a private beach. We had an ocean front room on the lobby 1st floor level. It was strange to get to the room as there was no direct route. You had to go up the stairs or the elevator to the second floor, then back down to the first floor and it was like a strange maze. The room was nice, full fridge, small stove, dishwasher comfy beds. The shower towels were awful, they felt like sandpaper. You did not step onto the beach from the sliding door from your room, although you had an ocean view. You stepped out onto grass and could see the ocean in the distance. It was an easy walk from the sliders to the beach entrance, but you couldn’t lock the sliders, so if you wanted your room locked you had to go the back way through the hotel. The access to the beach from the room was pretty easy. If you want a better view of the ocean I would recommend 2nd floor Ocean view room or above room and the corner Ocean view rooms looked like a great location. The hotel doesn’t offer chairs or umbrellas so if you’re driving bring your own. The rentals were a little pricy $25 a day for umbrella, $16 a day for a chair. You could go across the street and buy a couple of chairs and an umbrella for less the the cost of a daily rental if your stay is a few days or more. There are walkable places for dinner and an Acme food store across the street. The rental place starts setting up chairs and umbrellas around 7:15 am so if you want a front row view of the ocean go set up your chairs by 7:30 am to secure your spot. Make sure you don’t put your umbrella to close to the water as you will be asked to move it so lifeguards can see down the coast. There is an indoor pool that can be very loud, so if you want quiet don’t book a room on the pool side. There is no outside pool. We had breakfast on the outside patio, which was great.

We had a great stay at the Princess Royale Oceanfront Hotel, and what stood out the most was the exceptional customer service. We experienced an unexpected incident during our stay, and the response from the staff was outstanding. The ladies at the front desk were all amazing, friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. A special thank you to the Manager Anja, who was incredibly professional, understanding, and went above and beyond to make things right. We'd also like to recognize Francois from the bell service for his friendliness and great service. Excellent customer service like this makes all the difference. Thank you to Anja, Francois, and the wonderful front desk team for turning a difficult situation into a positive experience.
