Donna Marie and her team make this hotel feel like home. We travel to BWI area for medical appointments every three months, and honestly look to her smiling face and the amazing team that works with her. Everything at this hotel is top-notch, and if something needs to be replaced, it has done immediately. The buffet they offer is incredible, with different offerings every day. Parking is a breeze as well as Check-In. We always enjoy the pool during our stay. They even have a few pool toys and floats! The drive into Johns Hopkins it’s pretty direct, and it’s a 10 minute drive from BWI airport, making it an easy location to have as a home base . I’m thankful for the hospitality and warmth, especially after a long day dealing with doctors.

Great property. Looks new - well maintained. Friendly, helpful staff (thanks, William!) who genuinely care. Blinds kept the room nice and dark. Fine breakfast.

Upon pulling in we noticed that there was hardly any parking and the spaces were really small (lots of work trucks and larger trucks that take all of their own space). I had a call into the hotel the night before checking in to ask about specific rooms and the person wasn't very friendly. We have stayed at multiple Maryland hotels, and most seem to underdeliver, so at this point, I was ready to be disappointed. Upon entering at 10:30pm (long day) there were no luggage carts, and this really made me draw assumptions about the hotel. However, the man at the desk was VERY friendly and warm. I was a little confused, since I was ready for rudeness, but he changed my attitude with his helpfulness! He alerted me that the luggage carriers are kept behind the desk, so they don't get left on the hotel floors (smart). The man put me at ease about the room we were assigned (it was across from the stairs which I was worried about noise) and told us that the doors don't slam. The hotel was very clean and quiet. We entered our room; it was clean which we were SO thankful for as many hotels after they 'Clean' it's not my clean. This room was clean, so the cleaners deserve props for the pride in their work. Our only issue with the room was on the couch bed was no complete sealed cover on it, and it had a pee stain on the mattress. We try to get home2suites(H2S) for the couch bed as our teen sleeps there. We put a blanket on top of that, then the covers but they need to address the couch beds in this and other rooms. I love that this Hilton has the cotton blankets on the bed as well as the main cover, as I get hot and the main cover I normally give to my teen and take the cotton one out of the closet. This way he was able to not only have his main cover for the couch bed but my main cover and I still had a blanket!! THANK YOU! LOVE Hilton has gotten rid of the Tubs in the rooms, I always feel gross in those. The showers are MUCH better (even with small kids). This H2S I really appreciated the vanity in the bathroom that has been updated as well-lots of under space for stuff (drawers, shelves, etc) which helps when you have family over 15. The next day we went down for breakfast not expecting much as the H2S breakfasts are very lackluster (sawdust and hard egg biscuits, hard doughnuts, package eggs, hard greasy sausage and of course the waffle). As I said, we like the H2S due to the 3 separate sleeping spaces for our family, but the breakfasts are horrible...NOT AT THIS ONE! Shockingly, we came down and there was nothing to be found. Then I see the manager, coming out with plates of stuff to refill. She saw me looking around and immediately came to me to ask what I needed. I asked if they would be stocking breakfast since there was only 30 minutes left (lots of places don't). She smiled and told me that they no longer have the heating dishes that overheat the food and leave it hard. They put in smaller dishes and refill consistently. This way the food tastes better. She also showed me around what they have, and I was so happy to see they got rid of those things that we always make fun of on the H2S breakfast bars. They had 'good' scrambled eggs (the best egg and cheese bites on weekends), 2 kinds of bacon (turkey or pork), avocado slices (my teen was ecstatic as he doesnt like breakfast food), hard boiled eggs, fixing bar for the eggs, oatmeal, cereals, pastries, yogurts, fruit and 2 types of potato's (sweet and reg). My FAVORITE thing was they had real juice glasses!!! Not those small one gulp juice glasses that you have to make 47 trips to refill. ACTUAL lowball glasses where you only need to fill 1x!! THANK YOU, HILTON! We were impressed FINALLY at H2S breakfast. Parking is an issue, seems a lot of construction guys park here so the spots really need to be bigger, and they need more parking since the hotel in the same parking lot also uses it. However, we did get spaces even when coming back late. ADDITIONALLY- they have EV CHARGERS (2) The location is GREAT! Close to everything you need. Food, shopping, sports, coffee, and the highways. The thing they (H2S-not just this one) really should address is making sure all mattresses have the complete covers on them (zip), large enough parking and I wish the rooms had the small kerigs for those of us who bring their cups. We were very happy with our clean & comfortable room/beds; the staff was over friendly making everything feel alright (we had interactions with 4) and the breakfast was one of the best of any H2S (we have stayed in 6 states and multiple H2S).
