One would not realize they are in total Ford Country; this Inn was superb, quiet but in a very inviting way. My stay reflected impeccable service and thoughtful details turned this stay into an unforgettable experience. This Inn was built by the man himself, my room overlooked the courtyard and the effort of maintaining the elegance of a bygone era was present everywhere. From my greeting upon arrival, to the interest from both the GM and the bellman, (he had a great sense of humor) this stay surpassed my expectations.

As an avid traveler with considerable experience across a range of hotels and destinations, I can say without hesitation that this was the most unsatisfactory room I have ever encountered. The state of the room reflected housekeeping that fell far below what any guest should expect, let alone a guest paying your room rates. The specific concerns I documented are as follows: The bathroom and shower stall had visible filth accumulated in the corners, suggesting the space had not been thoroughly cleaned for some time. The interior of the cabinet and storage doors was coated in grime, as though they had never been wiped down between guest stays. The centerpiece table in the living area was dusty and had dried spills on the copper frame. The carpet had clearly not been vacuumed recently. The powder room floor had old, sticky stains that were immediately noticeable upon entering. Additionally, the hardback property guide left in the room for guest use was covered in a gooey, unidentified substance, making it completely unusable. I want to be clear: the front-of-house staff was exceptional. Every member of the team we encountered at the front desk and throughout the property was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. That level of service made the condition of the room all the more jarring by contrast. I chose this property because of the standard its brand represents. What I paid for that room was not a budget rate, and what I received did not reflect the value, the brand promise, or the basic standards of hospitality any guest deserves. I am putting this in writing because I believe in accountability, and because the guests who follow us deserve better.

I recently stayed at The Henry Autograph Collection while traveling with my dog. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stylish atmosphere and a gorgeous, lively lobby. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated the security measures, including key card access to the hotel after 10 PM and to the guest floors. One of the biggest positives was how convenient the property was for traveling with a dog. There were plenty of grassy areas for walks, waste stations with garbage cans nearby, and easy access to the parking lot. The self-parking was convenient and located right beside the hotel, making it easy to get my dog in and out throughout the stay. I booked a Portrait King Guest Room, which was comfortable and well-equipped with amenities such as a mini fridge, safe, desk, luggage bench, iron and ironing board, USB charging ports, and adjustable climate control. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep. The standout feature of my stay was the room service. The food was genuinely excellent. I ordered the burger, Caesar salad, and garlic parmesan fries, and every item was delicious. The garlic parmesan fries in particular were phenomenal and easily the highlight of the meal. It's some of the best hotel room service food I've had in quite some time. Unfortunately, there were several issues that prevented this from being a higher-rated stay. Housekeeping attention to detail was lacking. There was hair on the shower wall, noticeable residue on the bathroom mirror, and the overall cleanliness of the room was not what I expect from a property in this category. In addition, both the TV and mini fridge were unplugged when I arrived. I had to move furniture to access the outlets and get them working, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. I was also granted a late checkout until noon, but a staff member knocked on my door around 11:05 AM while I was still showering and getting ready. The interruption was uncomfortable and made me feel rushed despite having confirmed late checkout. Overall, there were definitely things I enjoyed about this hotel, especially the room service, pet-friendly setup, convenient parking, and comfortable bed. However, the cleanliness issues and late-checkout interruption left me disappointed. If I were traveling with a dog again, I would consider staying here because of how convenient the property is for pet owners. Otherwise, I would likely explore other options in the area.
