We did our annual company retreat at Rand Tower, and we had such a wonderful time! Rand Tower truly exceeded our expectations and did an excellent job accommodating all of our needs. The meeting space was great, the food was delicious, and the rooms were beautiful. Most of all, the staff (especially Lindsey, Adam, Ash, and Maria) were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. We will certainly be back next time we're in Minneapolis!

Lovely staff! Two servers stood out as particularly skilled in the restaurant/bar: Gede and Annika who made this solo traveler feel right at home. The green salad with shrimp was very tasty and the lower level restaurant has such a nice, relaxed vibe. The staff at the front desk were also incredibly warm; he efficiently checked me in and remembered me when I came in later to ask about restaurant hours. When my coffee maker malfunctioned the maintainer took care of it immediately! The fitness room has newer equipment and a nice set of weights. Accessible only with a key, but with full windows it made me feel secure during my morning workout. A gem of a location and very reasonable rates. Marriot must be proud of this beautiful 1920s vintage property with all modern amenities and a lovely staff / team!

Let me start saying I love Marriot properties and have enjoyed the ease of use and functionality of the Bonvoy app too. When I booked this time, I decided to use the app. The rates seemed great and although photos often embellish the facts in many ads, these were bang on. My son and I walked in we just loved it. Our first of many interactions was with Jaylyn. She is a true testament that customer service isn’t a department but a state of mind. She greeted us and from that second we felt like we had come home. Throughout our stay she was there. At one point I asked her if she actually had a room there because she seemed to always be there. With everything good there is sometimes a glitch. And as I have told my staff over the years, making a mistake is an opportunity. An opportunity to build a deeper relationship with your customer and to make things right. So don’t fret the error, just capitalize on the opportunity. So we had a bit of a minor glitch that was so quickly rectified, and taken care of that I honestly will never stay anywhere else. The rooms and room services were excellent. My son said it was the nicest hotel room we had ever stayed. It was an important weekend for us so I was soooo pleased he was pleased. I’d also like to thank Nebiu, the hotel manager. His care and thoughtfulness helped erase any issue we had and we literally even hugged goodbye as we were checking out. Thank you to Jaylyn for her thoughtfulness and attitude - What an amazing welcome committee and front office professional, and to Nebiu for ensuring the whole team went above and beyond. Our experience was indeed a 10/10. You made our weekend. Typically, my preferred hotel choice is Fairmont Gold, but since there was none available in this area, I opted for Rand Tower. Although my initial check-in experience was disappointing, my perception of the hotel was completely transformed by an evening front desk agent named Jaylyn, who provided exceptional service. She listened attentively and sincerely acknowledged the issues I faced during check-in. She assured me she would resolve the matter and had integrity to follow through on her promise. She effectively addressed and resolved the problem I encountered earlier. I was truly impressed by her professionalism and dedication to delivering excellent service. (It seems to be a rare quality these days.) Thanks to Jaylyn’s outstanding, customer-focused approach, my opinion of Marriott has significantly improved. If I find myself traveling to a place where Fairmont Gold isn’t available, I will choose Marriott, solely because of how impressively Jaylyn demonstrated her commitment to ensuring guest comfort and ease during my stay. I sincerely hope that Marriott management reads this review so they can recognize and reward an outstandingly employee like Jaylyn. I also hope Jaylyn reads this review. Thank you so much, Jaylyn! The room was lovely, elegant, and clean. I wasn't crazy about the bathroom lighting, but it wasn't a major issue. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well. (I am a light sleeper.) Usually, older buildings tend to be noisy, but I experienced no disturbances in my room on the 18th floor. The hotel is centrally located, so it was convenient to explore the area. I highly recommend this hotel.
