We always check Trip Advisor before booking a hotel and the La Quinta down the street got good reviews and was $50 less. But we have found the Home2Suite brand to be a pretty good choice overall, so opted to spend the extra to be safe. We’re traveling across country and stayed at a Home2Suite the previous night and it was everything we could have wanted. So keep in mind my review is comparing these stays. Hotel was fine and room was fine. Bed was satisfactory (although I preferred the bed the night before better) and overall, the room was clean Here’s where they lost a star from me. The caulking around the shower looked like it was growing fur. I didn’t get close enough to see what it was - but it was unappealing. The shower track had rust. The wall around the shower base was blistered and peeling. Everything else appeared clean - but someone needs to do a deep clean around the edges of the bathroom. Also, this is minor - but we’re Hilton Honors members and tend to stay at a Hilton whenever we travel and when I asked about our courtesy waters, the front desk hesitated, then said “those are typically for diamond members and you’re only silver.” I nicely said “that’s weird, as they just give them to us at every other stay” (usually along with a little snack) and she said “well, every hotel is run differently.” But then gave us 2 bottles of generic water. It just kind of made me laugh, that they’re that frugal with cheap water. Overall, I would stay here again. But not necessarily for $50 a night more.

One of the things I appreciate about Hilton is that I can always count on room availability and cleanliness. Even though most Hilton's don't bother with Diamond greetings anymore, I appreciate the brands cleanliness standards. Very nice staff at this property. Rooms were clean and breakfast was satisfactory. Hilton makes it easy to relax and get much needed shut eye no matter how late you arrive.

“Check your bathroom sliding doors.”

Strange hotel concept. Not sure I like it. Breakfast is not good or very warm. Our room had black mold across the sliding door. Most likely bc it was sliding between the shower area. It was Not from rubbing-door moved freely. You can only see it when closed. Told them at check out. No one seemed to… more
