We had an absolutely amazing stay here at this particular hotel, Hotel Indigo in the Central West End of St. Louis. The place was modern, clean, full of amenities and luxuries, and the staff were all so nice. Tayona, Steven, Jamilah, and a housekeeping/cleaning staff member who was working on cleaning rooms on the morning of 2/11/26 working on floor #1 (sorry....I did not catch her name but she was so helpful also that morning)......these team members helped us have an amazing stay with assistance with our needs, answering questions, helping us feel welcome, and doing things above and beyond. It was great! This hotel is so modern, so elegantly designed, and such a lush plush stay. Great food here, great atmosphere here, great rooms here (comfy beds!), and really a great hotel on our hotel radar now! Hotel Indigo in the CWE is the real deal!

I cannot say enough about my amazing visit at the Indigo on Lindell. The check in was pleasant and efficient. I appreciated the free, secured underground parking. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The shower water pressure did waver a little. Now, the lobby was a TREAT! The first night we enjoyed the pizza and the bar has SO many fun, creative cocktails! The next day rain canceled our plans. We enjoyed coffees and you can check out LEGO sets to assemble. Each employee was kind and gracious. Each transaction was top notch. For a property positioned between Forrest Park and Downtown, we couldn’t have wanted more.

This hotel turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Earlier reviews had worried me, but that is all from the past. The hotel has been beautifully renovated. This hotel turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Earlier reviews had worried me, but that is all from the past. The hotel has been beautifully renovated. The reception area, the cafe, the hallways, and my room looked all really nice. The staff was also very friendly and always willing to help. I had a great room with a balcony. It was very spacious and the interior looked really nice. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was also a coffee machine with cups to make fresh coffee and tea. The bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower with both a regular shower head and a rain shower. The water pressure was also more than sufficient. There was a small desk with two chairs, plus a sofa. The reception area had a pantry with the typical products like food to warm up, but also washing detergent, etc. The latter was useful because this hotel had a washing machine and dryer. They cost 2.50 USD each. There was also a cafe in the hotel. Aside from serving great coffee, they also had Lego builds on display and I think you can even build them during your stay. This hotel is located in a nice area of the city and has several restaurants, plus a Whole Foods supermarket, all in about 10 minutes walking distance. Normally I would have rated this hotel with 5 stars, but there are some things that I think can be improved. As spacious as my room was, there was hardly any storage space. There was a small closet for coat hangers only and 3 drawers in a bedside cabinet. But not even on both sides. One side had something for magazines or alike. Not very useful in my opinion and I would have preferred 3 more drawers. Another thing that I was disappointed with, was the lack of a regular breakfast and limited choices (burgers and pizza) for dinner. Especially the breakfast was inconvenient though. I would have liked to get some eggs and toast for example, but there were only pastries and croissants. That is not my idea of a breakfast to start the day with. Luckily, there were several diners nearby. I can recommend First Watch, but there were others. I hope that in the future, the breakfast selection can be expanded. Still, these are relatively small inconveniences and if I ever return to St. Louis, I will stay in this hotel again!
