We can't say enough about the helpful staff who went out of their way to accommodate us on extremely short notice after a power outage at the wedding venue derailed the original plan. The manager and her crew worked overtime to reduce our stress making sure the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast hot and tasty (including gluten and lactose free options), and that all of our needs were met.

“Very very friendly staff”

We booked two nights here to explore Glacier National park. We did a lot of searching using review sites and realised that prices were generally higher in this area and so were prepared to pay over the odds whihc you do here . We booked two nights here to explore Glacier National park. We did a lot of searching using review sites and realised that prices were generally higher in this area and so were prepared to pay over the odds whihc you do here . At some point we thought we saw mention of a restaurant on the property but didn't do enough due diligence as when we checked in it was clear that there wasn't although the very friendly receptionist was at pains to tell us where we could drive to to eat . However as we like a drink with our meal and had been eating out for the previous few days. we decided to go for the pizza and wine from the adjacent gas station and watch a movie in the room - and I had to say even though we did it for two nights it was great and felt like a good American experience. the free cookies on the desk were a lovely dessert too. The whole hotel was large and although I have to say the rooms (in particular the bathroom) were a little dated , we were very comfortable. The free breakfast was fabulous with everything you could possibly want to eat there . A special mention for the staff too. The lady who checked us in explained how you now had to register to enter the park from the West Gate and as UK people we felt it would be too complicated on a US gov website. She explained about driving round to the East gate where registration wasn't necessary and this was a brilliant option and our first day in the park was great. She even lent us bear spray. The second day when we checked out, I was allowed to borrow again a half empty one and when i explained we wouldn't be passing by again at the end of the day , was allowed to keep it. I thought that was such a nice lovely gesture for a pair of English tourists hiking in the park. All in all, a delightful stay where we really enjoyed the novelty of bringing back delicious pizza - something we don't usually do I'm afraid to say. There was also an option of buying heatable stuff from a large vending machine there for the microwave in the room if thats your thing too .

“Super place to stay!”

It was our favorite hotel of the entire vacation. Wish we had scheduled a longer stay in Kalispell! We had a great drive up the Road to the Sun followed by a sweet glass of wine with our new friend on the deck.

This in not a usual review for me usually the place is good or not. This location has a lot of good points the staff, very clean, large bedroom, great bed and linens. super breakfast. Not good the smallest bathroom I have ever seen even dangerious to get into and out of the tub. need to close the door to get to the tub. secondly usually an inn is in a quiet location with natural soroundings not sharing property with a large filling station and on a major highway with cars day and night. Also it it miles from the lake. This makes the sorroundings more like a truck stop than an inn. with all the good and bad the bad make it not worh the money would recommend a different hotel in such a beautiful part of the country.
