The staff was all very friendly. The breakfast was warm and hot before you hit the slopes or we walked the town and we found a stroller that is just by loan and it’s a jogging stroller and we walked all over white fish and quaint Little town. it’s like four blocks from downtown and they have a shuttle that will pick you up and take you anywhere basically and the rooms were very clean. We stayed in a king size bedroom with a sofa pull out. It had a balcony. The showers were clean and new. The carpets were nice. The housekeeping was great. We even did marshmallows in the pool deck area at night to make s’mores. It was a wonderful experience.

“Great Hotel and Close to Downtown”

Very comfortable, clean hotel within walking distance of downtown, along a river trail. For off-seaon, the price was excellent. Has a pool and hot tub which unfortunately were being renovated during our visit...but they did a shuttle for us to their sister hotel with a pool. Good, free coffee. Brea… more

Very comfortable, clean hotel within walking distance of downtown, along a river trail. For off-seaon, the price was excellent. Has a pool and hot tub which unfortunately were being renovated during our visit...but they did a shuttle for us to their sister hotel with a pool. Good, free coffee. Breakfast was standard fare like a Best Western...but it is included which is nice. Definitely recommend

“Family Ski Trip”

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers that traveled for a ski vacation over Spring Break. The location is nice, just about a couple of minutes drive from downtown and about a 20 minute drive to the ski resort. There is also a Safeway within walking distance. The lobby, breakfast area, and other common areas were clean and appear to be recently renovated. There is a ski room with boot driers. We loved having these, but they could use more because they were full most days. There’s plenty of room to store skis, boards, and bags. They serve complimentary breakfast in the mornings, includes hot and cold items. They also serve fresh baked cookies in the afternoons and have a little hot chocolate bar with lots of toppings that the kids loved in the evenings. They also have s’mores kits for the fire pits. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, although they’re both a little dated. The hot tub was a little small for the size of the hotel, and was often full. There is also a game room that has a pool table and a few other games. The staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, but seemed dated especially compared to the lobby area. We had two doubles and a pullout couch. There is a little coffee pot, microwave, and a mini fridge with an actual freezer. It also had a nice balcony overlooking the river. The beds were comfortable, but I would not recommend this room if you need to use the pullout as a bed. The mattress on the pullout is very old and thin and you can feel the bars underneath. Also you can hear it squeak every time the person that’s on it moves. The walls were very thin. We could hear the people in the rooms next to us and the person walking around above us. This was not an issue for us because all the people around us were very quiet at night. This is the only reason that I gave the hotel a 4 star rating instead of a five. We would stay here again.

An excellent hotel. The reception staff were engaged, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was OK….more fresh fruit would have helped. Our room was a decent size, at the side of the hotel away from the busy main road, overlooking the unattractive “river” and small factory units. It is a 15 minute walk to downtown. It is also one of the quietist internal hotels I have ever stayed in. Quite exceptional, with no corridor noise, plumbing noise or traffic noise. Having said that the room we had was directly above the hot tub. No problem at night, but late afternoon the, voices from the tub occupants was irritating. It is exceptional value, and recommended.
