My adult children live in Denver and I went to college in Colorado in the 1970s. I've driven the famous Interstate 80 more times than I can remember between Minnesota and Denver. In the winter months, it can be a tricky, forbidding highway with unforeseen snow and ice. In the summer, the hotels often fill up, but on this night, you could have your choice amongst the Central Nebraska towns. I specifically stayed here due to timing when I was leaving Denver in order to be off the road by 10:00 p.m. after a busy day in Denver. At just under 7 hours on the road, I pulled in with the wind gusting at our tail from the West driving the cold weather and snow in. The front desk lady was super pleasant and got us checked in quickly. The hotel is a two story very long structure with doors in the center which was close to our room. Unfortunately, with arms full of luggage and a dog on the leash, the room key did not work to get us in from the outside. It wasn't a big deal. we walked back up to the front desk and she fixed the key. The storm was coming as it always seems to at this time of year, so we did not stay for breakfast and were gone by 6:00 a.m., skipping the breakfast. The room was actually really nice and clean. The shower amenities were especially nice with a big assortment of shampoos and body washes. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable with heat that was easy to adjust and worked well. On the night I stayed here, the price was under $100US. We weren't here long, but it has everything you need in order to keep from crashing out there on the open road at night. Parking is super easy and it's right on the highway. It's all ya need, great people.

“A pleasing night”

I was very pleased with this hotel stay. Room was very clean the staff was exceptionally accommodating and breakfast the next morning was hot and tasty.

The room was decent and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only options for breakfast were instant oatmeal and waffles. The room was decent and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only options for breakfast were instant oatmeal and waffles. They did have a few fried eggs that looked like they’d been sitting there for 3 hours. They were very dried up!! The yogurt machine was broke. I had to ask if they had any bread and they brought out 3 pieces of white. The ironic thing was you could smell something major cooking in the kitchen and out walk 4 workers with their plates filled with tortillas, meat, beans and all the fixings. They sat down with their plates by the customers and had a feast. Meanwhile I had my instant oatmeal 😳😳😳
