I didn't know anything about Sam's Town when I chose it based on the pictures and price. I drove past at night initially, and the area was ok. There is a walmart directly across the street, so I purchased a huge can of Lysol in anticipation of my stay. The room was pretty clean, but I did spray everything down. There is the resort fee which increased my price by one hundred dollars for a 3 day stay. Hotel was pretty quiet and did not see a lot of guests whenever I left to go in and out. Casino was decent. Overall I was very impressed. Location is just a few blocks from the I-11. Free parking was nice. I was able to get around even to the strip in a relatively easy period of time. Lobby area is very beautiful. I would definitely stay there again.

It is always a pleasure to check in at the Sam's Town Hotel & Casino & Gambling Hall on the first Thursday of December. The front desk agent Kaden was so amazing he greeted us with a smile. His knowledge of our NFR Package was so amazing, we got to our very clean room and was able to relax in our very spacious room. This is our 9th year staying at Sam's Town for the NFR, we love this hotel so much. We arrived at the Thomas & Mack Arena for the first 3 nights of the NFR our seats for the past 9 years have been so AMAZING!! The Boyd Gaming Properties have the best NFR Packages in Las Vegas. Every time we came in contact with any of the staff from Sam's Town they were very friendly and accommodating to us. If your are looking for an Amazing Hotel in Vegas this is the best in town for money. We look forward to come back next year for another NFR Weekend.

“Check in was Disgraceful”

This is the 3rd time staying at Sam’s Town and this time check in was so stressful to the point the Supervisor at check in made my daughter cry. Abigail had reserved our room through Trip.com and had her confirmation showing she paid for the room for 2 nights in full including resort fees and taxes with $101.00 for the third night still owing and the deposit of 100.00. All she should have paid was the $101.00 and deposit fee of 109.00 when we checked in. After arguing and the employees talking to reservations, their information did not match my daughter’s confirmation and they wanted an additional $509.00 plus the 109.00 deposit. My daughter also had a confirmation letter from Sam’s Town matching my daughter’s confirmation letter. The supervisor on at that time refused the confirmation letter and said she had no idea where the letter from Sam’s town came from and insisted we had to come up with $509.00 plus the deposit fee before we could check in. They told her it was Trip.com that she would need to call and find out what happened. We all moved over to the bench and Abigail was struggling to get her emotions under control and started crying. She is a brittle Type 1 Diabetic and can’t be under stress like that. I went over and tried to talk to the agents at the counter again. I questioned why Abigail had to pay so much more than my Daughter Angela did, and they said that both reservations we made about 22 days apart from each other. Which still did not explain the huge difference of 509.00 and deposit of 109.00 when Abigail Nichols had paid $250 with 101.00 plus deposit left to pay at Check out. Which would have been 201.00 at check in not $609.00. After the supervisor saw that Abigail was upset to the point of crying, she agreed to change Abigail’s rate to match my Daughters Angela rate and charged her $290.18 and we got the cards for our room. Which was still $80.00 more than what should have been charged. We have all decided to not stay at Sam’s Town again because of what happened. We love the Casino and everything it has to offer. But the stress it caused all of us at check in and the way we were initially treated is not something I ever want to go through again. Even when the supervisor decided to honor the change of rate to that of my other daughter, I felt that her attitude was still very dismissive and she never even looked at us. The other attendant was the one that worked with my daughter. Our Stay was on May 1,2026 and we left May 4, 2026. Rooms for Abigail 709 and Angela 707 The Valet attendants were the most amazing people and made the rest of our trip. Every time we came out he was amazing to us, every time. he made us all smile and made our days. Opened our doors. Amazing job. In fact our three stars were mainly because of him. I would give him 5 stars everyday. The restaurants were amazing and so was the rooms. But your first contact is what Starts your stay out ani would give your supervisor and F in How she dealt with the situation and how Long she allowed it to continue for over 30 minutes without even looking at the confirmation letter or letter From Sam’s Town before deciding to honor the other room rate.
