Great stay for the price. No frills but clean, convenient, and super comfortable. Bath products smell amazing. For under $100 a night, my stay far exceeded my expectations. Great stay for the price. No frills but clean, convenient, and super comfortable. Bath products smell amazing. For under $100 a night, my stay far exceeded my expectations. If you want luxury, look elsewhere. Also, yes, you can hear a low traffic sound from the road but no doors slamming or kids yelling and crying in the hallways (like other hotels) and a white noise app on my phone solved the problem.

“Happy at Golden Gables Inn”

Very comfortable, clean, and cozy. It was quiet when I visited. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also conveniently close to coffee, food, and shops. I had one issue with the fireplace but it was addressed as soon as I mentioned it! I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Very spacious room with double aspect windows. Nice view from the back window. Decor a little dated but generally clean. Very spacious room with double aspect windows. Nice view from the back window. Decor a little dated but generally clean. You do get a lot of noise from the road outside and the room is never really dark due to lights on walkway and balcony. No tea/coffee making facilities in room so you have to get up/dressed and go fetch it from foyer (8-12) to bring back to the room but from experience in previous accommodation, we bought a couple of cups and used microwave to boil water to make a drink first thing. Bed comfy but pillows could be better. Ok for a couple night stopover.

We stayed for one night while on a ski trip. We've stayed at this hotel for years. It was our go-to while staying in the N Coway area. It was always clean and reasonably priced. It is under new ownership, having recently been acquired by Wyndham. We had a room in the back of the hotel, which is where you want to stay because of the road noise. We had a room with a king bed. The room seemed warm when we first walked in, but then we realized it was only 58 degrees. We tried turning up the heat to no avail. We texted with and called the front desk several times. They promised to send someone to check it out. After about 30 minutes, we asked to switch our room, which the hotel obliged. Our second room was similar in temperature. During the night, the room was very warm. I think they are regulating the heat. All they had to do was tell us that. The room itself was clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pillows could have been better. The one thing I totally dislike about this hotel is that there is no in-room coffee or tea. They have some available in the hotel lobby, but you have to wait until 8 am. This hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Although it's a good value, I'm not sure we’ll stay here again. There are better options in the area.

Golden Gables website is down, has been down. That is how I book, online direct. Have stayed there soo many times, but now reluctant. looking elsewhere.
