Great hotel in Albuquerque, friendly front desk employees and very flexible for changing travel plans! Not too far from the airport.

Spectacular customer service by Maria Lozano. She did a great job checking me into my room and she helped me with future reservations. The hotel was very clean and amenities were all fantastic. This hotel is the best place to stay in Albuquerque.

Cade was incredibly helpful at the bar. He filled us in on the poor drinking rules of Albuquerque, but remained fun and pleasant throughout our stay. Genuinely, Cade deserves a raise. “Good rooms overshadowed by poor management”

Let me start with the positives: the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. Due to several management issues, I cannot rate this hotel higher than three stars. Here are two particularly frustrating examples. First, internet access is only available if you sign up for the Hilton Hotel club. Seriously? I arrived late at night and only learned the next day that I could have asked for a voucher — something the night clerk neglected to mention. Still, the fact that basic internet access requires becoming a lifelong “member” of a hotel club feels unreasonable and outdated. Second, I discovered a stain on my shirt and was told I could use the laundry machine on the second floor. However, it only accepts quarter-dollar coins. As a visitor from abroad, I naturally asked the receptionist where I could get some. Her answer: a cash machine a mile away — which of course only dispenses bills, not coins. With no shops, restaurants, or any real infrastructure nearby - this is the dullest part of a city I have been in in years as an extremely frequent travelled - this left me with no choice but to wash my shirt in the bathroom sink, ultimately ruining it. Such a degree of unhelpfulness and intellectual limitation is rarely encountered at a helpdesk. On top of this, the hotel is noisy (single-glass windows do little to keep sound out), and the air conditioning roars like a rocket preparing for launch. Breakfast is served on disposable paper and plastic instead of proper tableware. While I understand this may be common in parts of the U.S., I expect better from an international brand like Hilton. Overall, despite the quality of the rooms, the lack of service, poor facilities, and disappointing management make this hotel one I cannot recommend.
