“Small room, big amenities!”

Although small in size, the hotel room was big in amenities! From an actual closet with hangers, to small safe for valuables, steamer for pressing clothes, ice bucket, mini-refrigerator, hand wash & lotion, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, hairdryer, and SPACE to place your toiletries… everything … more

Although small in size, the hotel room was big in amenities! From an actual closet with hangers, to small safe for valuables, steamer for pressing clothes, ice bucket, mini-refrigerator, hand wash & lotion, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, hairdryer, and SPACE to place your toiletries… everything you could want in a hotel. Other hotels in FiDi sadly lack some of these amenities. My stay included breakfast which wasn’t self serve but made to order. Very nice! I highly recommend.

Just checked out of a one-night stay here in August. Was upgraded to a very nice balcony room, which I appreciated. The bartender in the lobby level restaurant was also very kind and did a great job. The room is efficiently designed and for the most part, does the job, is clean, and the bed is comfortable. On the whole, I would recommend this hotel. There are three things that prevent me from being able to give this property 5 stars: (1) design choices in the bathroom. They put a small shelf out directly over the tops of the two soap and lotion dispenser bottles, which makes it hard to actually pump them to get liquid out. They also hid the kleenex dispenser far below the actual sink (and behind the towels) so that I spent a good 10-15 minutes looking for it. (2) some wear-and-tear issues, namely with the curtain in the room. It jams and wasn't fully sewn into the track. I'd say they need to fix that, and I did bring it up as I checked out. Speaking thereof... (3) no late checkout for IHG One Rewards Elite members. Yes, I know it's 'subject to availability' but if you advertise a 2 p.m. late checkout, especially for elites, you should do your best to honor it. The receptionist offered to store my luggage, and I explained that I wanted to come back and shower after having taken a dance class, for which luggage storage wouldn't be useful. She had nothing to offer. In short, would I stay here again? Yes, I would. But, I'd think twice if I had somewhere to be in the morning and wouldn't book if I needed a late checkout.

We only stayed one night and were glad to be honest. The place is tiny. The rooms were tiny. The staff were great though. Helpful on reception I couldn't fault them so thank you for your help. Great job. I guess it just depends on what your looking for. For a short stay, sightseeing all day and just crash out, then fine. Otherwise it could be a touch claustrophobic. No noise from other rooms, some from through the door as your so close to the elevators. All in all middle of the road for us thus a mid score. Thumbs up to the staff though.
