Outstanding location just off Times Square, so that iconic location is easily accessible but the hotel is quiet and has refined atmosphere. The staff in every location were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Requests to housekeeping and maintenance (one minor problem) were dealt with immediately. Impeccably clean in all areas. comfortable good-sized room. Excellent breakfast choices and the line for a table was well-managed by a large number of staff so that waiting time was maintained at a minimum. Highly recommended.

Très bon accueil, très bonne organisation, très belle chambre au calme. Nous y avons séjourné du 02 au 06 mai. Tout à été impeccable du 1er jour au départ. Hôtel très très bien situé pour les transports et les sorties. Nous avions pris la chambre avec le petit déjeuner, orga impeccable et proposition très variée, nous n'avons pas regretté, bien au contraire. Chambre impeccable, nous étions au 12 eme étage. Rien à redire ! Merci pour l'accueil A very warm welcome, excellent organization, and a lovely, quiet room. We stayed from May 2nd to 6th. Everything was perfect from the first day until our departure. The hotel is very well located for transportation and going out. We booked a room with breakfast, which was impeccably organized and offered a wide variety of options. We didn't regret it at all, quite the opposite. The room was spotless; we were on the 12th floor. No complaints whatsoever! Thank you for the warm welcome.

Me & my girlfriends recently stayed at RIU. From the moment we entered the Hotel we were greeted by two friendly Bellman who took our luggage. The check-in process was easy & friendly & we were able to get all three of our rooms together. The Hotel is very clean & the rooms had a nice feel & a comfortable bed. The free breakfast was top notch with a wide variety of foods to select from. The location is within walking distance to Broadway & many restaurants & shops. So happy we chose our stay at RIU. Great service - 5 STAR HOTEL.

While the hotel location and the room itself were perfectly fine, the check-in process created unnecessary stress at the start of our trip. I booked two rooms under the same itinerary. During check-in, the first agent only checked me into one room. When I mentioned the second room, I was informed that I could not use the same credit card to pay the taxes and deposits because the hotel system apparently does not allow “duplicate charges.” To clarify, the taxes for each room were the exact same amount — $66 and change — and because the amounts matched, the second charge would not process. I contacted American Express directly while standing at the desk, and they confirmed there was absolutely no issue with my card. What made the experience especially frustrating was the lack of problem-solving from the first two agents I spoke with. The only suggestion offered was to use an entirely different credit card, whereas the card was not the issue. And if you’re into rewards travel, like me, you aim to maximize the benefits for your stays. After being sent between three different agents, the third agent finally resolved the problem simply by charging one penny more so the transaction would process successfully. While I appreciated that the issue was eventually resolved, I do not believe the solution to a hotel system limitation should be to charge a guest additional money, even if it was only one cent, simply to force a transaction through. This entire situation felt unnecessarily complicated and avoidable. I was traveling with my 76-year-old mother, and the extended delay and confusion caused her visible stress, which made the experience even more disappointing. I am sharing this feedback because the issue appeared to stem more from process and staff handling than from any actual payment problem. I hope management can review this situation and provide additional training or guidance so future guests do not encounter similar frustrations during check-in.
