“This just became our favorite place to stay in Asheville!”

We absolutely loved it here! Asheville is one of our favorite getaways to the mountains. We stayed in the Sunflower cabin, and it blew us away. The atmosphere made us feel warm and cozy. There are two large porches, one of which has a hot tub. It is exceptionally quiet, and I could have sat out the… more

“A Pleasant Stay”

The cabins are beautiful and spacious. The bedrooms have plenty of closet space and the King beds are very comfy. The kitchen has everything you need. We stayed at the Mountain Laurel and had a great, relaxing time. The hot tub was a real plus. Owners very accommadating.

  • Guests at Asheville Country Cabins say: My family and I spent five nights in the Juniper and Mountain Laurel cabins at Asheville Country Cabins this June, and it’s hard to put into words how delighted we were with our stay. The property sits on 23 beautiful acres just outside Asheville. You feel tucked away in the countryside, yet you’re still close to everything — about 7 minutes to Publix, 8 minutes to Walmart, as well as a multitude of other familiar stores and restaurants we normally frequent. Further, it is only roughly 18 minutes to downtown Asheville. Plenty of nearby restaurants deliver right to the cabins, which made meals easy for our large group. Accessing the cabins was simple. There were no steep, unpaved, or intimidating roads to navigate — something my wife especially appreciated. Both cabins were meticulously clean and clearly well cared for. Beds, bedding, towels, and amenities all felt fresh and new. The kitchens were well stocked, and we were welcomed with snacks, sodas, a bottle of wine, and other thoughtful touches. The outdoor grills, hot tubs, and fire pits were spotless and in excellent condition. We were greeted by the owner, Peter, and his brother Shane, who live on the property. They took the time to welcome us personally, walk us through how everything worked, and answer any questions. Their suggestions for things to do in the area were spot‑on, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making our stay everything we hoped for. Walking the property was a highlight for our family. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the hiking trails were perfect for exploring and spotting wildlife. The trails are lined with blackberry bushes, and since it was the start of blackberry season, we had a wonderful time picking and enjoying fresh berries. Each day we saw turkeys and bunnies, and although we saw signs of deer, we didn’t catch a glimpse of them this time. The large koi pond was a huge hit with our grandchildren — the owners even left fish food so the kids could feed the hundreds of koi that live there. We had traveled to the Asheville area to attend a destination wedding, and although we did spend some time visiting some of the state parks, waterfalls and other area highlights, we could have just as easily spent our entire time in the cabins and on the property. This property turned out to be a true delight for our large family. The Anuar family, who own and operate Asheville Country Cabins, are exceptional hosts. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, well‑maintained, family‑friendly getaway. We can’t wait to return.
