Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The rooms were clean and nicely designed. The artwork wasn't exactly my personal style, but it was still tasteful and added character to the hotel. The gym looked nice, although I didn't actually use it. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop bar. I loved sitting outside by the fire pit on the comfortable couches while enjoying the beautiful views. My only disappointment was that you can't hear the music from the outdoor seating area—you have to go inside to enjoy it. Later that evening, we sat inside, and the ambiance was wonderful. I wasn't a big fan of the DJ, though. I think a broader variety of music would make the experience even better. Music was better on the next night. The staff was very welcoming. The lady downstairs near the elevator was especially friendly, and the front desk staff greeted us every time we walked by, which made us feel appreciated. Parking is $50 per night, which is a bit steep, but it's downtown, so it was expected. The location is excellent; you can literally walk almost everywhere. We walked just a couple of minutes to dinner at Deluxe Fun Dining and then to the Milkshake Factory for dessert, which was very convenient. I was also happy to find that the room had both an iron and an ironing board. I had read online that rooms only had a steamer, so we brought our own iron unnecessarily. I also loved the dimmable bathroom lights; they were a nice touch. As an added bonus, the hotel also has a spa and an on-site restaurant. A few minor things could be improved. I noticed a few crumbs in the crease of the couch and what appeared to be a small tear on the headboard, although it was barely noticeable. The closet door was a little tricky to operate. The housekeeping staff was somewhat noisy that morning. It didn't bother me, but it could disturb guests who like to sleep later. The shower head could use a little more water coverage, and I would have preferred brighter lighting in the bathroom. Even on the highest setting, it felt a little too dim for getting ready. Overall, I had a great experience. The excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and rooftop bar made this a very enjoyable stay.
