“Exceptional”
Beautiful hotel, pleasant staff, excellent service and reasonable rates. I've stayed at many fine hotels throughout the States and the world and the Washington Duke Inn is as good as it gets.

“Worthy of at least 6 stars”
Beautiful hotel and grounds. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent staff in all positions including valet and front desk, housekeeping, and both dining venues (Fairview and Bull Durham). Recent (and ongoing) facility updates are well done ... if there were 6 stars, Washington Duke clearly would quality.

“High society!”
Stately, dignified place with outstanding staff. Grounds and golf course are beautiful. Bar seems lively but also cozy and clubby. Loved it!

I recently stayed at The Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club for a work conference. This is my second time here for a conference. This is my favorite place to come to.
