Stayed here due to an early flight out of Asheville airport and the location was perfect - 15 minutes from the airport. The price was decent. Also, you can walk next door to Cracker Barrel. The room was older looking but seemed to be clean. HOWEVER, I was tempted to give a lower rating because of the horribly overpowering fragrance in the room. It smelled like a brand new cheap plug-in fragrance deodorizer but I couldn’t locate the source. Perhaps it was carpet cleaner? If you can stand the fragrance and need a decently priced room for one night and/or one near the airport, I would recommend this hotel. If strong fragrances affect your sinuses, I would not recommend this hotel.

Highly reviewed well. So when I went in I noticed it was very clean. I also noticed it was very orderly. It offers Continental breakfast in the morning and it has an indoor pool and a fitness room. The rooms were very clean. However, they're trying to do too much. They allow pet dogs. I had not slept for two nights because I'm a third shift worker and I did a double volunteering in the mountains for the hurricane Helen victims. Someone had their small yelping dog barking right outside my door at 0830. The other problem is the housekeeping crew starts as early as 8:45 in the morning. So up above me at exactly 8:55 was a housekeeper vacuuming the second floor room above me. I negotiated a 12:00 checkout. I called the front desk to get an 11:00 wake up call. The rude lady on the late night shift at midnight set it for 10:00 in the morning. She also gave me a lip about checking out at 12:00. Not only am I a rewards member, but I'm a military disabled veteran. I still work full-time. So I was trying to make up for some lost sleep. I paid a good amount for a deluxe room for a comfortable night's sleep. Not only did I not get that but I got rudely awakened by one of the guests dogs outside my door. And then I had to deal with the housekeeping starting as early as 8:45 in the morning. I feel like management needs to bring in the housekeepers after 11:00 checkout time. I mean, usually you can't check into a hotel until 3:00 or 4:00 anyway in the afternoon. If you have to give them 8 hours 11:00 am to 7: 00 pm at night would be perfect for them. They could clean common areas and do laundry. From this experience I will never stay in a hotel that allows pets. I also will ask from now on what time maid service starts in the morning. It's a shame this hotel is very nice. But the yelping dogs and the very early housekeepers vacuuming outside your door and above you before even checkout time which is generally at 11:00. Also, you've got the rude late night guest services person who does not listen to you and puts your alarm an hour sooner. Would stay here again if it didn't allow pets. And they would not be so early on maid service in the morning. I mean my God people don't check out until 11:00 anyway. Why do you have them come in at such an early time and vacuum right outside of guest doors. Not everyone is on a farmer schedule of going to bed early and getting up early. Some of us work night shift and many who stay in hotels like to sleep late. That's why they call it vacation or staying in a hotel for the first place. Has a lot to offer but has some serious issues with housekeeping and noisy pets. Wouldn't stay here again because of the issues. God bless America. ⚓🇺🇲🪖😴
