I live in Raleigh, had a very early flight to Indianapolis, and decided to stay at the airport to make my life easier the next morning. Typically, people don't leave reviews of airport hotels unless it's negative. I felt as if this hotel deserved a positive review. I am typically a luxury/4-star hotel traveler for vacations, but for a quick overnight stay near the airport, this hotel exceeded my expectations. My hotel room was clean. The staff were friendly. It's what you expect from a three-star hotel. The rooms are more traditionally decorated (some would say dated), but I found nothing wrong with our room. The location to the airport is outstanding, and Mr. Ben was right outside when we left for the airport at 4:30 am. It was a flawless experience. I had dinner in the Bar restaurant. My chicken Caesar salad was outstanding. In fact, I raved about the salad while on the cheer comp. My friends laughed at me for staying in airport hotel before a flight, but it was a geat experience and I 100% would do it again. They even have coffee out at 4:30 am, complimentary. That is a fabulous perk for early-morning travelers, because I go to many cheer comps and have early mornings. We have to wait until at least 6:00 am to 6:30 am at many hotels to get coffee, and we have to pay for it. The lobby is nicely decorated and has a modern touch. My room was quiet even though I wasn't in very long. We did do room service for my teen while I ate dinner downstairs, and she said it was good. I chatted with a few people on business in the restaurant, and they were using it as a business hotel for their time in N.C. and were staying multiple days. Multiple days in, this location would not be my first choice. One night was enough for me, but the location is good with quick, easy access to Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. If you don't mind driving for food or nice restaurants while in town, it would work nicely if you're on a business trip or on a budget.

“Ok hotel near airport”

Nice room although some wear and tear. The footstool for the chair needs to go to the thrift store. Very, very worn. Free coffee in lobby. No free breakfast (like other HGI).

“Why is toilet paper a mile away?”

Wow, please consider this in next remodel: toilet paper holder shouldn't be so far away from the toilet. Its unreachable for children and shorter people I could only reach if I sat on the seat sideways. Absolutely dumb!
