Everything was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff extra friendly and super helpful. Wifi was great and fast. I was able to connect with no problems and work for the entire day without connection problems. Close to the airport and many food options. Coffee, tea and hot water were available all day/night. Breakfast was typical. Eggs, breakfast meats, cereal and pastries. Would definitely stay again.

“Great Hotel Staff @ an Average Hotel”

Pros: 1) I was going to give this hotel a 3, but the front desk was superb!! They were attentive and courteous. We checked in & they told me some places that I could eat. They actually called our room, said Mr. “last name” and said your delivery man is on his way! This is more than I get for higher… more

Pros: 1) I was going to give this hotel a 3, but the front desk was superb!! They were attentive and courteous. We checked in & they told me some places that I could eat. They actually called our room, said Mr. “last name” and said your delivery man is on his way! This is more than I get for higher end chains! 2) The hotel is a minute from highway 71 and 15 minutes to the zoo. 3) The breakfast was average, but it was free! The pancake machine works! 4) The rooms were clean and seemed newer. Cons: 1) We were on bottom floor, the opposite end to the lobby. There was an exit door to the parking lot near our room. The people in the room beside and anyone using that door, we would hear. Also our room had an adjoining door to the other room. Whenever, they would open their door, the wind or vacuum created would make this door shake and rattle. I ended up putting a box against it, which helped bring the noise down. 2) We were on the road side of the hotel and are only like 20 feet from the road. Surprisingly, there wasn’t a ton of road noise. 3) The indoor pool is closed. From reading reviews I am thinking it’s been closed for some time, even though the sign says temporary. 4) They are limited on luggage carts, and they only have one large one. We got stuck with one of the tiny triangle ones for our way in and way out.

A few pros and a number of cons. Pros - Free shuttle from airport, not exactly available on demand but came within about 10 minutes of my call due to their schedule. Helpful and friendly driver. Check-in person was friendly and competent. There is a nice coffee/tea area next to the check-in where both items are available and brewed on demand at all times. There is also a Keurig machine in the room --- with pretty poor coffee available. Room was as expected - clean, reasonable lighting, everything in working order. Desk and chair were very adequate to get computer work done. USB ports at the desk but no regular plugs. The hotel is within about 5-7 minutes drive from the airport. Good shower. Cons - as others have said in previous reviews of this hotel, the location is adjacent to a busy roadway and noise can be easily transmitted through the windows whenever any car or truck goes by. Not great for sleeping, and of course the proximity to the airport is also a noise problem. The hotel was not built with sound-proofing which is unfortunate given the location. Noise between rooms also a problem. At one point, the person in the next room (at 3:00 am) was getting ready to leave his room and it sounded as if he was literally in my room. I had to check that no one was actually there. Really poor for sound. I did not try the gym or the breakfast. The tiny pool was closed when I stayed here. Having stayed here this one time, I would personally not stay here again, even if I had an early flight.
