We stayed at this location for over a decade when visiting our grandkids and have always enjoyed our stay here. Be aware. However, they are remodeling the building. Some of the things we noticed are as follows. 1. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. 2. The first thing we noticed was that the wall unit was removed. That meant there was no desk to locate a laptop or write letters, etc. Removing the wall mounted wardrobe to store clothing was a gross error. The ONLY place to hang anything was above the narrow area above the fridge. Good enough for shirts and blouses. Forget items longer like slacks and skirts. 3. There are only 2 guest accessable 110 volt outlets. 4. Only 2 USB ports on each side of the bed. In this age of electronics, the number is drastically short. 5. The sink drain was VERY slow. The clerk was notified, but nothing was done. 6. THE WORST PROBLEM was the window treatment. The flimsy plastic blinds did absolutely nothing to shut out the glaring parking lot lights. I could sit and read the newspaper without turning on any room lights. Horrible!!! They desperately need blackout curtains. 7. The TV selections are really bad. The about a half dozen channels had no sound. Just as many had a picture but the audio was from another channel. How Good are you at lip reading? (As a side note) The night clerk tried to adjust the TV without success, so he was kind enough to swap out the unit for another one. No improvement. Oddly enough, the TV in the lobby had no such problems. Go figure. Finally, we will do a little more research before our next visit to see how much was improved. This chain is always our first choice when traveling due to their consistency in quality accommodations. Time will tell.

“Good choice if headed to KI.”

Stayed in a king bed room. It was clean and spacious. Well furnished. The hotel has a nice complimentary breakfast. It's only 5 minutes from the KI park. A good choice.

“Very dated decor but decent hotel”

A rare Hampton Inn that gave me an upgrade as a Diamond but also one desperately in need of a renovation to update the oddly dated interior. It’s a theme park hotel so you aren’t going to be surprised when there are a ton of families and kids running around but sound proofing (at least in my room)… more

A rare Hampton Inn that gave me an upgrade as a Diamond but also one desperately in need of a renovation to update the oddly dated interior. It’s a theme park hotel so you aren’t going to be surprised when there are a ton of families and kids running around but sound proofing (at least in my room) was decent. It was clean (but very dated looking) and service was fine - you don’t interact much with digital check in! Waffle House next door and lots of other things within a short drive are a plus. Overall a solid Hampton Inn that I would stay at again.

“Great Stay But Small Issue”

Overall the hotel was nice. The front desk staff was nice, the room was spacious and clean. The only issue I have was the bathtub. It was very narrow and slippery. There were no grippers in the bottom of it. My dad is disabled vet so it would be helpful if the tub had grippers so he would not fall.… more

Overall the hotel was nice. The front desk staff was nice, the room was spacious and clean. The only issue I have was the bathtub. It was very narrow and slippery. There were no grippers in the bottom of it. My dad is disabled vet so it would be helpful if the tub had grippers so he would not fall. Again only a minor issue but something to work on.

We chose this hotel because of brand. Hampton Inn has been a reliable choice for clean, comfortable, and practical lodging. This location was very disappointing. Assigned room 102. Security latch was broken off of the door. The peephole cover broken. The lock for the side exit door to the parking lot was broken providing NO security right next to our room door. We asked to be moved. The attendant acknowledged he knew about broken security door. The new room 308 appeared better. This floor seemed to be post-renovation. Carpet still smelled new. New room: no curtains on window, slat blinds did not block light. Security lock on door unusable. Sheets very clean and nice. Great Hampton Inn pillows. Slept well! While turning on shower in the morning noticed dirt ring around tub about four inches up. Showered. Water filled to dirt line due to clogged drain. No Neutrogena products—when did that change? Sink drained slowly too. Walls had either construction dust or primer dust on them. I guess the place is in process of renovation, but it isn’t ready yet. The dining room had chipped ceiling and elevator walls dirty. (This is the first ever review I have left for a hotel.) Maybe the Tru across the street would have been better.
