“Pleasant experience”

Pretty nice place. Had a bad experience at a neighboring hotel that cancelled our reservation and needed to find a place asap and Sheraton was able to squeeze us in last minute. Room was pretty nice as well and they had a nice bar/restaurant downstairs. Also the complimentary shuttle that goes to and from the airport is a nice touch. The only complaints I had were that there were some stains on the couch, and the lobby plays loud music 24/7, so if you are sleeping on the pull out couch you can hear this. Also, the light switch for the bathroom is outside of the bathroom, so if you need to go in there in the middle of the night and people are on the couch, then you cannot turn the light on without disrupting them. Otherwise though everything was pleasant and we were grateful to Sheraton for getting us a room on such short notice.

“Acceptable for a Night”

We had an overnight layover in Philadelphia during our recent spring break trip, so we needed someplace to crash between flights. The Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport was generally okay, providing a clean room that helped us get through the night. The staff was also quite helpful, despite the hotel clearly not having the staffing needed to serve the guests registered that night. That said, the overall level of service was not what I'd expect for an airport hotel. This is especially true of the food service. We arrived at the hotel shortly after 9p, and by the time we got checked in the only place that might have provided food was the bar - through I could not verify that since the bartender never acknowledge my presence. We ended up ordering Uber Eats as I was unwilling to wait any longer to be told the kitchen was closed The next morning, my wife went down to get coffee early before we headed back to the airport, only to be told that coffee was not yet available. Again, I might expect that at a suburban motor lodge, but not at an airport hotel near one of the busiest airports in the US.

We went to check in, tired after a 9 hour flight. When I looked at my booking on the marriott app I saw it was not charged correctly. We went to check in, tired after a 9 hour flight. When I looked at my booking on the marriott app I saw it was not charged correctly. Staff member called corporate and they told her to cancel reservation and for me to rebook. When I did I got the message I had to wait 30 minutes. I asked to see a manager about the wait as I was tired and agent told me of a charge I did not recognize. Manager fixed this but staff did not tell us several other things. The room was fine and breakfast was good. I asked to see a manager as I checked out to suggest that while the stay went well the staff member can use some training. Well it was the same manager as the night before and she told me that the mistakes were my fault as I upset the staff person. Way to go blaming the customer! Would you be a little upset if staff told you you had to wait 30 minutes before checking in when it wasn't true.
