While many accommodations are content to provide a bed and the bare minimum of comfort, this particular inn rises far above the ordinary, offering an atmosphere that is at once deeply personal, thoughtfully curated, and infused with the unmistakable care of its owners. It is rare to find a place where the sense of being a valued guest is so palpable, and rarer still to feel simultaneously as if one has come home. From the moment we arrived, the property communicated a quiet charm and serenity. The exterior is well maintained, a reflection of the pride that clearly informs every aspect of the inn’s presentation. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by an environment that was both welcoming and meticulously organized. We are already looking forward to our return. In fact, it is difficult to imagine future trips to the region without making Inn on the Hill our lodging of choice. We absolutely loved our stay at Inn on the Hill. The room was spotless and the showers were beautifully updated, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable. The owner was so friendly and welcoming—it really felt like we were staying with family instead of at a hotel. One of the unexpected highlights was being able to use the amenities at a nearby resort. We got to go paddle boarding and kayaking, which made the trip even more memorable and fun. Overall, it truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to coming back on our next Lake George trip!

My husband and I stayed at The Inn on the hill from Aug 4-7. We met a very pleasant woman who checked us in and gave us our key. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. My husband and I stayed at The Inn on the hill from Aug 4-7. We met a very pleasant woman who checked us in and gave us our key. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. We had a room on the second floor, which had a very nice view of the lake. We parked in the back since that is how you get access to the second floor. The room (#16) we had was a king size bed. Very clean bathroom with a Shower with great water pressure. There is a pool however we did not use it, but it was very clean and very well maintained. The trolley goes by every 20 minutes, which is very convenient, especially if you don’t want to park downtown. For $1.00 if you are 60 or older, make sure you ask for the senior discount which is only 50 cents. We were very happy with our stay at the Inn on the Hill
