“Very Nice”

Check in was extremely quick. Stacey at the front desk was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was big(walk in shower) and the water pressure was awesome. Check in was extremely quick. Stacey at the front desk was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was big(walk in shower) and the water pressure was awesome. Coffee was ready at 5:30 and was very good. Just one thing puzzled me. There were no can liners in the trash cans. I know this is a small thing, but it bothered me because you could tell they hadn’t cleaned the cans themselves in a while. I would definitely stay here again.

“Nice place to stay, great location”

This property is in a good location with many of restaurants nearby. We stayed here specifically for the outdoor pool which was closed dur to mainteance. They were apologetic and did offer the hotel of their sister property next door. The hotel is dated, but looks like they have made some update… more

This property is in a good location with many of restaurants nearby. We stayed here specifically for the outdoor pool which was closed dur to mainteance. They were apologetic and did offer the hotel of their sister property next door. The hotel is dated, but looks like they have made some updates as the Bathrooms were nice, large tv's in the room. Of course the beds are always very comfortable.

“Check for fees”

At check in the front desk clerk did not have my Hilton Honors number that I gave to the reservation agent. We had to spend time finding it from my telephone number. At check in the front desk clerk did not have my Hilton Honors number that I gave to the reservation agent. We had to spend time finding it from my telephone number. However the retrieved number turned out to be for the account of my late wife, and then that had to be corrected the next day to assure that my account was credited with the stay. The hotel had only two of its four elevators working. The advertised Business Office was permanently closed to become a Sales Office and not useable by guests. My room had no clock and the TV was inconvenient and frustrating to use. The TV remote had no keypad and no labeled buttons to indicate volume control or channel up/down. Channel selection was only by the GUIDE button and the available channels lacked numbers. So it was impossible to select or reselect a desired channel directly. I could only find or change channels by scrolling through the long GUIDE list. The 2-pedestal cabinet on which the TV sat contained the only storage space for folded clothes and consisted of 3 wire rack drawers each measuring16”x13”x6”. The top of that cabinet was sticky with some unknown substance. My room was listed as $154.99 but there was an additional $62.89 per night for "Tax Recovery & Fees".

We are devoted to Hampton Inns and rarely stay anywhere else. We took a day trip to Florence, SC, and stayed here for one night. We are devoted to Hampton Inns and rarely stay anywhere else. We took a day trip to Florence, SC, and stayed here for one night. There were only two things that bothered us: an air conditioner unit on the wall next to the bed which spewed out cold but musty smelling air. It didn't feel healthy to be breathing that air into our lungs all night. The second thing was the amount of black moldy gunk at the base of the sliding shower door. Both things deserve some attention. Otherwise, great bedding, great pillows that we've come to love.
