A year ago I literally would have rather slept in my car than this hotel after two separate rude interactions with a staff member. Now?? Jay…. At the front desk….. you are amazing. Jay not only made me feel welcomed and appreciated, she went above and beyond to make sure that my refrigerated meds would stay safe. She greeted me with respect and a beautiful smile. I would absolutely stay here again if I am going to be appreciated and treated this well. Jay, I hope your manager knows what a wonderful asset you are to their team and how well you represent the Hilton brand!

“Excellent Choice at Florence”

I was passing through Florence while driving I-95 south to Florida and of the 5 or 6 lodging choices at this major intersection I chose Hilton Garden Inn. I was passing through Florence while driving I-95 south to Florida and of the 5 or 6 lodging choices at this major intersection I chose Hilton Garden Inn. It's a very nice hotel, excellently furnished and maintained rooms, with a popular small restaurant and full bar. Front office staff was cordial, efficient, helpful. Other guests were surprisingly (to me) upbeat. No complimentary breakfast in the a.m., though, but I stopped at a McDonalds as I left early in the morning. There are many retail stores and restaurants adjacent. Hotel parking was plentiful. Just an overnight stay, but enjoyable - I'd stay here again if the need arose.

This is in many ways a very nice hotel. The rooms are very nice, and the beds are super comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. There was only one choice of vegetable, however, and it was a medley that included vegetables I can't eat due to food sensitivities. I had the salmon and it was delicious. My husband had the pulled pork sliders and raved about them. Breakfast was also quite extensive and good, though not free. The staff was universally friendly and helpful. The only downside was the very harsh chemicals used to clean the place. I have to commend Chris at the front desk for trying to find us a room that I could actually stay in. I have chemical sensitivities, and first two rooms quite literally made me sick. The third was somewhat better, and we decided to stay rather than looking for another hotel. It still wasn't great, and the following evening after checking out I am still dealing with the aftereffects. Much as we really liked everything else about this hotel, we won't come back, but if you are not sensitive to harsh cleaners and bleach, this is a really nice place. If you are, then avoid it,
