Love the security keycards, the ocean view, the spacious room with washer & dryer and kitchen! We loved every minute! Great family trip with three separate suites (2BR) for a total of ten people. All rooms were clean and had updated furnishings. Elevators worked fine with very few long waits. Lazy River is small, but it did work the whole time and the grandkids enjoyed it. The "covered" pool is heated, which was a big plus most days. The other pools were a little chilly, which was refreshing in the heat of the afternoon. This is a quieter location, which we enjoyed with the young grandkids. Free mini golf until 7 p.m. across the street at Lost Mine, which was fine for little kids. The beach is nice and wide at this spot. Grandkids are already asking if we can come back. We have read reviews about old furnishings and dirty rooms. I did not experience any of that. HGVC owns a lot of the suites (Half?), and the rest are still under Anderson.

We have stayed here probably 15-16 times in the last 20 years. One thing I will say is the phone customer service needs some work. I had to call the hotel twice before arrival & it just felt as though it was a bother to even answer. I was happy we were accommodated with a high floor room as requested during my reservation but disappointed that my confirmation provided an amount remaining of about $100 less than what the reservation details had on the app and at the resort. I arrived with confirmation in hand, confirmed booking on their direct site & the only thing I got was oh looks like it's in the taxes --and the desk attendant blamed Hilton for it --didn't even bother to adjust my price or honor the lower amount printed on their official email. Believe me they made enough off my 2bdrm rental $100 could've been adjusted: We were placed in the Anderson owned part--which means someone decides if they upgrade not the hotel --the TV service terrible--one only works with dvd player, safe not working --broken closet door on washer/dryer ---took 3 people to come up to fix it because they don't read service orders from prior shifts--to get hot water you have to run every faucet for about 20 min--we were told it was because of the floor we were on and how far it had to travel. I find it more likely they cannot accommodate the number of people staying there in the summer because at 6 am--no issue --6pm --had to wait. I enjoy the text service and the quickness in the response. The coffee shop could stand to have more options or not look like it's waiting on supplies every day. The 2bdrm is amazing. --from the long hallway to the double entry to the balcony--it's a great room but for the price your expectations are a bit higher.
